This place is a dream! The river is so picturesque and we loved the architecture of this special home. The neighborhood is quiet and feels remote, yet it’s not far from downtown Boone. The ping ping, hot tub, and grill were wonderful amenities that we all enjoyed. Highly recommend!

Beautiful home surrounded by nature

The location is just about as perfect as it gets if you're looking to unplug and be surrounded by nature. The river was absolutely beautiful but difficult to access if your goal is to be in the river. The area is completely quiet with minimal to no traffic. We saw 39 deer in our 3 nights. There were a few items that kept this from being an excellent property for us - water pressure was the big one. The home itself is beautifully decorated with amazing views and amazing outdoor spaces

App State Game weekend

This property was a last minute booking when the one we had (through no fault of the owners) had no water. We had to look quickly and this one was just having someone checking out that day and we took it! The lay out of this home actually worked better for us. Very open spacious. Location and views of the creek were amazing. Watching 6-8 deer getting their morning water with the mist and frost on the grown was wonderful. They also allowed my two golden retrievers. Which for a last minute find was amazing. If your dogs do not have great recall then keep them leashed. The wild life there is beautiful and our male golden listens but we almost had rabbit stew for he chased more than one. Also with the water there it also draws some pets to it so just be careful. It is in an area where there are other homes but the are very spaced out. When out walking everyone and I mean everyone were just kind. Home is well appointed and easy to access once there. The lower game room believe it or not was used more by the Dads and they had more than a few ping pong battles. Which was great for it meant it was quiet for the ladies upstairs! lol will use this home again!!
