This 3-bedroom chalet offers 2 full-size bathrooms, a half bath and room for 10, along with a convenient location about 10 miles (15 min) from downtown Blue Ridge. That means easy access to all the wonderful attractions and splendor of Blue Ridge while enjoying the privacy and seclusion of Morganton. Featuring Wi-Fi, Hot Tub, Cable TV and a deck to enjoy all those wonderful spring days with a fireplace to warm up during those winter months.

Located in Morganton, Honeysuckle Chalet is approximately 15 minutes from Blue Ridge and Blairsville. A gravel road leads up a hill to the chalet where your wonderful vacation awaits. Available parking for up to 3-4 vehicles.

This 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath chalet that sleeps 9 is 2 levels. There are a small set of stairs that lead up to the covered porch. As you enter your breath will be taken away by the amazing views from the main floor windows. On this level, you will find a fully equipped kitchen with quartz countertops, luxury Italian appliances, a large island just waiting to be used those big family meals. The open floor plan living area features large couch and a TV above the 20 ft. stone stacked gas fireplace. The room is finished off with a modern dinning table that can seat 6. Just off the living space you will find the powder room and laundry room featuring a full washer/dryer.

The master bedroom is right off the main living space and includes a King bed with TV and features an attached bathroom. The bathroom features dual vanities and a gorgeously tiled shower with a rainfall head. The the glass sliding doors will lead you right into the outdoor entertainment area.

As you descend into the lower level you will enter the game room. Here you will find the wet bar as well as several entertainment items including a pool table, TV, board games and cornhole. You will also find a pull out sofa that makes into a Queen sized bed. Off the game room you will find two additional bedrooms. The first is a bedroom with a custom made bunk that sleeps 4 (all twins) with their own TV. The second is a Queen with a TV. There is a full bathroom right off the game room featuring dual vanities and a shower/tub combo. All tastefully decorated and ready for your enjoyment.

Outside on the main level there is a large deck that offers several seating options, an outdoor table and chairs that seats six, as well as the relaxing wood burning fireplace with TV. Offering beautiful wooded views and partial mountain views any time of the year. On the lower level you will find the beautiful hot tub and several anorak chairs for full relaxation.

Our host was very helpful and accommodating. The house had everything you might need during your trip to the mountains. 3 fireplaces, pool table, and large open floorplan. Located between Blue Ridge and Blairsville made for easy access to the various sites. Mercer Orchards was just minutes from Blue Ridge which is a must stop to make during the fall. I would highly recommend this house for anybody.

We enjoyed our stay. It was a quiet retreat with great views. The property does need a tiny bit of maintenance. We ran into issues with the grill not heating fully and the hot tub needing to be cleaned. But we still enjoyed our trip overall. You can also open the front French doors and the back patio doors on a nice day. We loved doing this with the fall weather.

Everything you’d want in Blue Ridge

We had a terrific 3 day weekend in Blue Ridge at the Honeysuckle Chalet. Beautiful, quiet setting but easy access to highway to get into town, go to hiking areas and white water rafting. House is wonderful, clean with comfy beds, fun pool table and great outdoor area for grilling and watching football outside. Can’t wait to go back again.

Mountain vacation

The property was beautiful, everything was clean, comfortable beds, fully equipped kitchen and bathrooms, hot tub was great, downtown was close, boating, paddleboarding, white water rafting, zip lining all close. The property was a vacation itself. The only challenge was the steep driveway, but it is located in the mountains and we got used to it pretty quickly.

First time using Vrbo and was pleasantly surprised by how quick and easy this process was. I was able to get into contact with the owners very easily and they responded very quickly. Perfect getaway

Honeysuckle chalet was a spectacular place. Loved how open the top floor felt. The huge windows let in plenty of light and views from anywhere on the top floor. The kitchen was great. Plenty of counter space. The range and microwave were easy to use. And the refrigerator was big. The master suite was amazing. Soft king size bed. Huge walk-in closet. The shower had a rain shower. Loved that a lot. The top deck was great. There is a place to lounge and a large table. We liked eating outside using the table. Downstairs was just as good. We only used one of the downstairs bedrooms, but they both looked cozy. The pool table and the wet bar were a nice feature. Along with the hot tub. There were a few board games. Lucky they still had all their pieces. Oh and there was a little bistro set on the front porch. Excellent spot for a morning coffee or a night cap. The location is perfect. It sits between Blue Ridge and Blairsville. Pretty much 15 minutes to each place. You can go to Blue Ridge for the touristy things. Or go to Blairsville to feel more local. If you go to Blairsville, try out Twisted Pizza. I plan on recommending this place to all my friends and family.
