Fantastic B & B !!!
If you want the experience of staying in a beautifully maintained Charleston home, then this is the place for you. From cleanliness to sleeping in a very comfortable bed, it was perfection. Private sitting area on your porch with comfortable furniture and white drapes flowing for privacy. Can you just picture it? So pretty. The staff gave us wonderful recommendations for restaurants. Be sure to go to Church & Union. Location was just right. Five minute drive to downtown and ten minutes to the Ravenel Bridge to be on Isle of Palms and Sullivan’s Island within twenty five minutes. Thanks for hosting ! If we’re ever in the areas of your other homes, we will surely book with you!

Balcony was amazing
The Inn is beautiful but in need of some freshening up. The room was spacious and well appointed. The towels and linens were good quality. The balcony is the selling point of this inn. The shower needs to be upgraded and some smaller details were lacking.

Worth the Try
When we first saw this listing, we were a little nervous due to the lack of reviews available. However, our communications with the host were excellent so we decided it was worth the try. We found the property to be as advertised and within walking distance of the things we wanted to see and do downtown. BTW, the cuisine of Charleston is incredible! We checked in over the July 4th holiday weekend. Check-in and entry went off without a hitch as promised. However, our room was very warm. Honestly, I was nervous that this was not going to go well considering the holiday weekend. However, we contacted guest services through the number we were provided and they remedied the issue that evening. Issues are going to arise. The true measure of customer service is how well they respond. This team found someone to come out on July 4th weekend to remedy the problem so we could get a comfortable and good night's rest. They went the extra mile and called back to check on us. On top of that, they gave some great recommendations for places to eat and things to do. We found our stay at the Ashley Inn to be great for us and our needs. The Ashley was certainly "worth the try."
