Perfect place to stay with family ❤️

House is very clean and have everything we need to stay with family. Lakefront and sunset are so beautiful. Lake is perfect for children the shore is shallow. We found a winery, a lavender farm, a fruit and vegetable farm. Definitely we will back here ❤️

Fantastic House

We truly enjoyed our stay and LOVED the huge deck! Beautiful lake views and plenty of outdoor seating including a really nice cushioned sectional and a large umbrella table for outdoor dining. The yard was a hit with the teens for outdoor games and fire ring. The great room has wonderful lake views and is very spacious with a large table for indoor dining and of course, euchre! The house has a really nice flow and accommodated our family beautifully. We couldn't have asked for a better house for our family holiday weekend in MI! Thank you!!

Don’t stay here!

From day one there was little to no water available. Imagine getting in the shower, soaping up, and then NOTHING! There was also a toilet that needed to be fixed after someone used fishing wire to mend the handle. We reached out to property manager with NO help whatsoever. The home is older and outdated with uneven floors and entryway was dark and dangerously slippery when wet.The property mgr told us to “throw out a figure” for a partial refund for our troubles, and once we did, we were totally ignored with no communication whatsoever. Do yourself a favor, don’t stay here!

Monica started North Star Properties with one goal. To better serve the Northwest Indiana and Southwest Michigan Area with a concierge service mentality for short term rentals. From the North suburbs of Detroit she was bred to be in the real estate industry. Both of her parents were entrepreneurs. She watched as her father built Gauthier Corporation, a very successful construction company, which is still running as strong as ever. Her mother started a cleaning company that meticulously made sure every home shined like the top of the Chrysler building. Working for both of her parents growing up, she understands the drive and passion it takes to achieve success. Prior to starting North Star Properties, she sold real estate on the Northside of Chicago before moving to the Dunes and making a permanent home.
