Kintla - Modern Dual Tiny Homes

Summary:

Start your next adventure at Glacier Retreats - Kintla, our picturesque 2-cabin combination, with lofted beds in each, for up to 4 guests. Conveniently situated in the rural landscape between Whitefish and Columbia Falls. Our carefully designed mountain retreat is the quintessential outdoor getaway under Montana’s expansive skies. Perfect for family fun, couples’ ski retreats, exploring Glacier Park, and other activities. Cozy up by the fire, relax in the private hot tub and enjoy the wildlife.

The Space:

These modern, contemporary cabins are offered as dual, tiny home combination. A spacious deck connects the cabins for ease of access between them as well as to the hot tub and firepit area. This allows for private sleeping quarters yet close enough for family time. With one bed in the loft of each cabin, there’s space to comfortably accommodate 4 people. While only one cabin offers water and sewer for toilet/showers and cooking, both have electricity, wireless internet and all the modern amenities needed for your stay.

Cabin 1 (Main) offers 240 square feet of common space with a couch, mini-fireplace, kitchenette and private bathroom with full-size shower. The 69-square-foot loft boasts a king size bed.

Cabin 2 (Dry) has 160 square feet of common space including a comfortable couch for lounging, coffee station, smart TV and a 69-square-foot loft with a queen-sized bed. All lofts are accessed with a sturdy ladder.

Opting for a clean and uncluttered energy, you’ll find this property equipped for the most discerning guests. A fully stocked kitchenette awaits you equipped with a microwave, small fridge, toaster oven, portable double burner, plus all of the essentials to accommodate your needs during your stay. A drop table and chairs are tucked in to the space for your convenience. The living spaces display the contemporary decor with a hint of mid-century style. Colors are serene and neutral and comfort is the standard. Wall-to-wall windows flood the space with natural light and offer beautiful views.

The outdoor amenities are just as spectacular, with a deck offering both a lounge and dining area as well as a relaxing private hot tub. There’s plenty of space for your exercise routine or yoga practice with mats provided. The outdoor space is complete with a fire pit and BBQ. Wood and propane are provided for your convenience. Enjoy the peaceful, rural location with spectacular views of mountains, trees and farmland - perfect for an evening of stargazing and a glass of wine.

While the location is rural, there are other cabins and farms in the area. It is not secluded. A privacy wall of wood is located on the edge allowing for unobstructed scenic views with frequent visits from deer , turkeys and other wildlife.

The area is a haven for recreational activities in any season and an all-around travelers’ paradise. Check out all the Flathead Valley has to offer in Columbia Falls, Kalispell, Bigfork, Lakeside, Somers plus more.

Getting Around:

Due to the location and the relatively small population size of the area, there is not public transport options. Finding a ride with services like Lyft and Uber are a good choice but can vary in availability. Other options may may be available depending on the time of year and weather conditions.

Other Things to Note:

A small hill with new trees is intended to enhance privacy as well as the trees surrounding. The windows and deck offer scenic views with frequent visits from deer, turkeys and other wildlife.

Please be aware that Montana winter storms can hit hard and fast. You may want to consider renting a four-wheel drive in the winter months depending on your experience with weather conditions. We do have a snow removal company that will take care of plowing the driveway, and we do provide snow shovels and snow melt for use during your stay. Major storms will contribute to the timeliness of plowing so preparing accordingly is key.

The home is stocked with firewood and the private hot tub is open and serviced year-round as well.

Cellular service can be spotty in the area depending on your provider, weather conditions, etc. Generally, the wireless internet service in the house is reliable.

This was the best Vrbo I’ve ever stayed in. It was very clean and a very BEAUTIFUL property. I booked this for our honeymoon and it was perfect. The listing pictures don’t even begin to capture the beauty/ magic of this place. Incredible Mountain View (especially at sunset). It is so close to the park and centrally located to everything in the area. It’s super secluded and a little oasis. They had absolutely everything you could need. Utensils, grilling supplies, bear spray, shaving cream, area recommendations, you name it. I seriously couldn’t recommend this place more and can’t wait to come back!

We had a wonderful stay at these beautiful cabins in Columbia Falls! From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The cabins were exceptionally clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed—from cooking utensils and a well-equipped kitchen to coffee and an espresso machine that made our mornings even better. After long days of exploring, we loved relaxing in the hot tub and spending our evenings around the fire pit. One of the highlights of our stay was watching wild turkeys and deer wander through the property—it made the experience feel so peaceful and truly Montana.Unfortunately, Mother Nature had other plans for our Glacier National Park adventure, with flooding and trail closures throughout our trip. Even so, these cabins became a relaxing retreat and one of the highlights of our vacation. We are so grateful for the hospitality and care that went into creating such a welcoming place. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Glacier area!

Great Spot for a Unique Stay

Had the best couple of nights in this unique two bedroom setup. The hot tub! The fire pit! And beautiful surroundings made this stay super enjoyable. The place was immaculate. There are neighboring cabins but well positioned to keep out of direct view and well spaced. Would stay again!

Amazing!!

My fiancé (now husband) and I stayed here over the course of our elopement + honeymoon. It was the perfect location nestled between the cutest Montana towns. We had so much fun exploring everything this place had to offer! The cabins are so adorable, extremely clean, and came with everything we could’ve needed during our stay. We will absolutely be back!

Perfection

We only got to stay one night but wanted to stay a week. The homes were clean, efficient and gorgeous. The hot tub over looking the fire pit area, into the wilderness was the R&R we needed. Perfect for couples! We will be back!
