About the property

Spacious Studio, 1 Bath, (Sleeps 2-4)

This unit has a queen bed and a queen-sized pull-out sofa sleeper, and a full kitchen with new Stainless Steel Appliances (not shown in photos). Passage Point guests have access to 3 outdoor hot tubs/pools. Plus, you'll have all of Summit County as your playground. The unit is priced at a very affordable rate for gold-rated lodging for a family of 4 or a couple. Also ask about discounted ski rentals, lift tickets, SECRET! ski pass, and discounts at Copper Mountains Athletic Club.

Description of Studio apartment.

This beautiful studio apartment is located in Copper Mountain's bustling center village. Just steps away from the ski lift, this fabulous unit is perfect for an affordable get-away at Summit County's best winter ski resort.

This elegantly appointed studio has a tempurpedic queen bed and comfortable American Leather pull-out sofa bed. We have new carpet and tile, new sleeper sofa, new recliner, new kitchen table and chairs, and new lighting. The unit also has a full-service well equipped kitchen and eat-in dining space for cooking and dining at home. We installed this Spring 2016 a ceiling fan to help circulate the air. Relax and enjoy a movie beside the fireplace in the spacious living room area.

Passage Point is the most requested lodging available at Copper Mountain. Your reservations include access to free Wi-Fi, an on site work-out facility, ski lockers, two hot tubs, and a small heated pool. With over 300 inches of snowfall annually, Copper Mountain rivals the big-name Colorado ski resorts. However, with limited on site lodging, Copper Mountain is one of the most sought-after destinations resorts in Colorado.

Copper Mountain has a wide selection of après-ski, dining, and entertainment. Enjoy ice-skating on the pond in the center village or sit by the fire pit and soak in the mountain air. Copper Mountain features one of the best ski schools in the country. Also, ask about the free evening child care program available when you shop or dine at participating Copper Mountain businesses.

Sorry, no smoking and no pets! A $250 refundable damage deposit is collected with final payment. It will be refunded after final cleaning, assuming no damage has been done beyond normal wear and tear.

About Tina Spencer

We are an active family of 6 from Fort Collins and we love to Ski.

Tina Spencer purchased this studio in 2010

Why Tina Spencer chose Northwest

We've skied all over Colorado and Copper Mountain is our favorite.

What makes this studio unique

Our studio condo is very comfortable for up to 4 of us at a time. It is a short walk to the slopes making it easy to come back for lunch and we don't have to wait for those morning stragglers. We also love the Passage Point hot tubs after a hard day of skiing.

Upscale Studio Condo with Value Price

  • 5 of 5

Highly recommended! This was our fourth year skiing at Copper Mountain - we usually stay in a house in Frisco, but decided to spend 3 additional days in the Passage Point studio condo. This unit is open and well appointed with cheerful decorations. My family of four found the size of the condo to be perfect, even unexpectedly roomy. The condo is conveniently located (easy walk to the lifts at Center Village, and literally a stones throw from the bus stops). We cooked meals in the condo and had an easy time with the appliances and cookware (the range was brand-new, and they even have a crock-pot). The ski locker was a little small for all our gear, so we kept the overflow in our car in the heated parking garage. The exercise room was nice with quality equipment. Tina and the Copper Vacations staff were very friendly and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Convenient, clean and comfortable

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed our stay. We were delayed arriving due to weather and the late check-in procedure was straight forward and easy. The garage was very convenient for unloading our luggage and groceries. The unit was very clean and comfortable. Originally only my husband and I were going to stay and the condo would have been the perfect size for just the 2 of us with a sitting area, dining area, sleeping area, bath, and kitchen. Our 2 daughters decided to join us which made things cozier, but still comfortable. We gave up the sitting area for them (they slept comfortably on the sleeper sofa). We spent most of our time on the slopes and when in the condo were cooking and eating, so this worked out just fine. The kitchen was well-equipped and spacious with a range, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker, dishwasher and refrigerator/freezer. The bathroom was also a nice size.

The unit is in one of the bigger buildings in Copper. It´s an attractive building and close to the slopes and other amenities (grocery, restaurants, ski rental, etc). There are lockers on the ground level for skis and poles and a nice lounge area on the same level. However, because of its size, the building really needs more than just 2 elevators. They were very slow. Also, the hot tub/pool area was a little weird. There were no dressing rooms that we could find, so we needed to hang our towels on the pegs in the hallway leading outside, remove our cover ups and run out in the cold to get in the tubs. We still enjoyed a nice hot soak, though and compared to the rest of the stay, there were minor inconveniences.

I would definitely stay here again and I recommend it highly!

Great location and very comfortable

  • 5 of 5

This condo has everything you need for a great ski trip. The kitchen is updated and fully stocked. The condo has tons of storage in smart locations - like a series of pegs near the door to hang all your ski gear. It was nice to cozy up to the fire with some hot chocolate after a day on the slopes. The condo is located at the Passage Point bus stop for the Copper Loop, which takes you to all parts of the mountain. That was extremely convenient. Tina was very responsive to all my questions and provided complete instructions for everything, including where to go grocery shopping. Will definitely stay here again.
