The cabin was super clean when we arrived. The host was very easy to communicate with. I appreciate that the supplies (dishes, pots and pans, soaps, etc.) were not mis-matched cast offs, even when I'm on vacation I like to serve meals on matching plates and cook in nice quality cookware. The back yard is HUGE and gave my little dog lots of area to explore.
We stayed here while visiting family in our former hometown. Was a great place to come home to wind down after a long drive and day visiting with family. Amenities are wonderful and home has everything you could ask for in a rental. We would stay again as there is ample room along with privacy. Plus being close to town is a bonus.
This property was nicer than described! The host put thought into the little details like extra fans, comfortable mattresses/pillows, cold water bottles, magazines, and hygiene supplies a family may of forgot, including those for children! Every room was clean and very comfortable. The outside area was our favorite to relax after long day!
The inside was clean. The bed was comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with tools for cooking. It is a little dark inside with low ceilings. The yard was mowed and has an outdoor seating area. The neighborhood was a mix of unkept homes and middle class homes. It is a 15 minute drive to Olympia's west side and Tumwater. The owner was easy to work with.
Low rating in every category since this host canceled on us...TWICE, in two different properties, on two different rental sites. A total mess, leaving us in a stressful lurch during the holidays. She asked us to cancel this booking because it was double-booked, which we cheerfully did. She generously offered to book us another, larger property she had listed on another site
for the same price. Great, we re-booked that. On the evening of DECEMBER 23, the day before our check-in, she messaged us to cancel, citing snow and ice making it too hard to reach the property. We were in town and the weather had been above freezing for over 24 hours so we immediately drove to the address with *no issue.* There was a car in the driveway. We assured her it was accessible amd that temps were going to be approx 40 to 50 through the night and into the next day. She declined and canceled us anyway. As you can imagine, we were unable to find a pet-friendly property in town at that late notice for Christmas Eve. Our car was packed full of holiday items and we were supposed to host our adult children. We ended up staying up past midnight trying to secure another rental, only finding one just under an hour away. She was personable, but evidently not organized or committed enough for these kinds of transactions.
My husband and I stopped here with our dog on a roadtrip through the area, and the house was so clean and comfortable. So many extra little touches like chargers, with adaptors for multiple devices, already plugged in and ready wherever we would need them. The host was also very responsive anytime we had a question. We would absolutely stay here again.
This place was spotless and so well equipped. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need including a fabulous coffee bar. There were plenty of condiments, dishes, pots and pans, etc.
The beds were great. There were mask and ear plugs for every guest. The bathroom had the softest fluffiest towels. They also had shampoo, body scrubs, etc.
They honestly thought of everything. The photos that were posted are 100% accurate.
It was nice and quiet.
I will definitely stay here again and highly recommend it .
