About Meagan Murphy Ross

Meagan and Pete Ross appreciate the need for quiet relaxation. Elizabeth, a very active 5 year old, keeps them quite busy! Meagan, a native of Olympia and Pete, from Glasgow, Scotland, decided to return to her hometown to raise their family. Until they can fulfill their ultimate dream of sailing around the world, they happily make do with the stunning view of Mt. Rainier across Budd Bay Inlet.

Meagan Murphy Ross purchased this cabin in 2013

Why Meagan Murphy Ross chose Olympia

When choosing a location to reside in Olympia, the east side of Budd Bay Inlet was an easy one. The best of the morning sun, quick access to downtown and the freeways, and the quiet seclusion of the point, is an amazing combination.

What makes this cabin unique

Watching the tide coming and going with all its treasure, the marine life at low tide and great heron and other shorebirds are all an absolute pleasure to observe. The stairs lead straight from the cabin door to the beach. Though high tide leaves little beach below, the deck is the perfect spot to enjoy the waves lapping the shore or, in stormy weather, crashing against the breaker wall.

Guestbook comments from the owner

We really enjoyed our stay at your lovely guest house on the water. Each day offered a different perspective on living on the water. Highlights - Mt. Rainier, double rainbow, seals and sunrise! Look forward to returning to this beautiful place in Olympia.

What a find!!! I'm so thankful I came across this gem. The beach house was perfect. Had everything we needed .... plus some! The views are amazing. The beach is great as well. So many seashells... sand dollars ... even saw seals! Hands down the best place I've ever stayed. Will come back!

Perfect cottage for couples

  • 5 of 5

This is a very private one room cottage with incredible water views. Meagan does a wonderful job communicating and insuring the cottage is clean and well-equipped. If you are looking to decompress in a beautiful setting I would highly recommend this property!!

Lovely waterfront spot with a view!

  • 5 of 5

Beverly Beach was the perfect getaway we needed from our busy work and city life! Meagan the host has thought of everything in this cozy spot and checked on us to make sure. We lucked out on weather and got a view of Mt Rainier several days. We also enjoyed exploring Olympia and 4 days of farmers markets cooking most of our meals with local foods. Hiking and kayaking made for a perfect needed vacation. HIghly recommend! Our little dog Lola loved it too.

I love the Beverly Beach House! Only thing missing was room service although I believe Meagan & Peter would have accommodated me had I requested! Can't go wrong renting this small house on the water. I'll be back

Beautiful Sound Views

  • 5 of 5

The view from the balcony was beautiful! We saw lots of birds and even a seal. The neighborhood dogs were friendly and sweet as well. The cabin had everything we needed and more. The coffee and wine were especially nice. Thank you so much for having us and if we are ever in the area again I would choose this place everytime.
