Tybee Cottages Lullwater Cottage guests can enjoy the shared pool facilities at the Royal Palms Motel, conveniently located at 909 Butler Avenue. The pool operates from April 1st to October 31st, seven days a week, between 10 am and 5 pm. If your vacation rental necessitates driving to the pool, on-street metered parking is available, albeit limited during peak times. Guests must bring their own pool towels as they are not provided on-site.

We really enjoyed our stay. This location was walking distance to several restaurants and about a 15 minute walk from the beach. It was very comfortable and despite the location to the main road, it was very quiet. I would definitely rent here again. I needed to contact the property management company on a holiday weekend, and they responded immediately. Overall, we had a great experience.
Very nice EXCEPT for sofa is very lumpy and uncomfortable AND the dining room chairs are not solid. Definitely need some strengthening. The little ping pong table was a huge hit!

The duplex is spacious with a great master suite and two good size bedrooms upstairs that share a bathroom. The living area was also fairly large with a half bath. Overall it was clean and had everything we needed. Previous reviews mentioned the traffic noise and the couch. While not major issues, those reviews were accurate on both counts. Overall we were very happy with it for the price we paid.
We really enjoyed our stay at Lullwater Cottage! Very conveniently located on Tybee Island. A short walk to the beach or to a few bars/restaurants. We enjoyed that the north end of Tybee was a little quieter and fit the vibe of our group.
The cottage itself had plenty of room for our group and a very nice layout. The only things that could use a little improvement were the couch (super uncomfy and sinking in the middle), the fridge (missing a bunch of shelves), and the quality of the toilet paper. But hey, first world problems! We also had an issue with the wifi, but the property management team addressed it quickly and got it sorted out. Overall, great trip and would recommend.
The check-in process was simple, and the property manager replied to our questions before booking. The information for the entry code was messaged to us prior to our arrival. We arrived late at night so finding which cottage we rented took a few minutes. The street was difficult to find as well since it looked more like a driveway than a street. The cleanliness of the property was a bit less than desirable. The upstairs bathroom had hair from the previous guest in the tub and sink. The shower curtain looked like it had not been cleaned in a while. The coffee pot had remnants from previous usage and part of an old filter was still in it. Needless to say, we had some cleaning to do when we arrived. The TV in the master bedroom was not connected to the internet, which had to be done prior to usage. We were informed that in order to watch tv we had to use our own streaming provider, which we did, after connecting the tv to the internet. Other than those few dissatisfiers the cottage was nice. Plenty of dishes and silverware to use as well as dish soap to wash any dishes that did not go in the dishwasher.

Average property for a high cost
The property was ok. It’s older, and very loud as it sits on the main strip on the island.
Whereas the property did indeed have three bedrooms with VERY comfortable beds, the couch in the living area was Terrible! Uncomfortable and as you’ll see sags and should have been replaced years ago.
The property management team was responsive when needed but underwhelming. They women working for the property management team provided us the wrong access code as we waited a lengthy period of time to get into the home. As our flight was late, I actually needed to wake this lady up to get the correct access code. She was very apologetic and nice but this should be unacceptable when you pay over 5k for 10 days. Another opportunity area is the book the property management team left for residents. You’ll see they crossed out the old wi fi password and filled in the new one to use. The new one did not work and we needed to use the old one crossed out? Just kind of unprofessional.
Then just wait until you see the refrigerator as you’re a guest! It’s old and abused. There are no shelves on the bottom of the side by side fridge as we didn’t have enough room for our food for 10 days.
Again…. I’m all about VALUE. Value is a fair asking price with a good customer experience. It’s my opinion until they ‘property management or owner) make upgrades to the items addressed in this review it’s only worth 2800 for 10 days even during the prime season!
