We have the house cleaned by professionals and had the sewer pipe which was causing the odor in the basement apt. emptied by the city. If there was a specific cleaning issue that needed to be addressed we would have sent the cleaners back to the property.

This false review is from a disgruntled guest. We went above and beyond to offer them a n additional full professional clean to meet their needs. They agreed and when the cleaning crew went to the Villa they refused to let them in. Weather was a factor in the cloudiness of the pool. Pool person explained to the guest why pool was cloudy but they refused to believe him. The neighbors do not have pools in working condition so Im not sure where he got that info). Maintenance cleaned pool twice while they were there for their 3 day stay. The maintenance team smelled smoke outside the pool area where the guests were sitting. I could not accuse them of smoking on the property because the maintenance person only smelled smoke outside and did not see the person smoking. We submitted our requested maintenance record to VRBO with photos to prove that the guest was making a false claim. VRBo agreed with us that the property was in safe and great condition based on our submitted evidence. VRBO did not allow a refund to the guests. We're sorry these guest didn't experience the 5 star stay we strive to provide every guest but we realize that not every listing is right for every guest. We wish them well in future travels."
