Comfortable, colonial style home. Enjoy relaxing on the large patio with a view after a day of touring the Black Hills. 30 minutes from Mt. Rushmore and the Keystone area. Close to parks, shopping and recreational facilities. Quiet neighborhood adjacent to Meadowbrook G.C. Garage available for our winter guests. Owner is near if special attention is requested by guests. Weekly and monthly rates are available if desired. Contact host for rates.

The location was great for the things we wanted to see, Crazy Horse, Mt Rushmore, Badlands, Custer Park and Devil's Tower. I would definitely rent this property again and recommend it to anyone traveling to Rapid City.

Great house for a large group of people. Very clean. Two of the bed rooms were a little miss leading pictures make it look like a separate bed room but beds are in open areas in the basement. Host showing up when we were out and about to put the garbage bins in the garage was a little unsettling. But otherwise great place quiet neighbor hood.

Needs updating on electrical outlets especially in bathrooms- no outlets. AC units in windows are very noisy.- need central air.

Thank you for staying with us. The home was built by my parents in the 60s without ductwork hence no central air. Outlets were purposely omitted from the bathrooms for safety reasons. We do appreciate different generations visiting who enjoy the older, well built homes. We apologize for any inconveniences

CLEAN! Wow we have never stayed at a cleaner home! We visited South Dakota from Illinois, 10 people total 4 adults, 6 children, all under the age of 13. This house was so perfect for us. Very well stocked in a great central location in what felt like a very safe neighborhood. All the upstairs bedrooms had air conditioning units, the beds were nice and we enjoyed all the board games. Overall, we had a great experience in this house and I truly cannot express how clean this home was.

Exactly What We Needed for Our Trip

We had a great stay! The house is older, but it was very clean and had everything we needed for our group. It was the perfect home base for all of our South Dakota adventures. Comfortable, cozy, and just right for relaxing after a long day of exploring. We’d stay here again!

We had a very nice stay in this large, obviously well-loved, former family home. We were a group of seven ladies traveling from Louisiana who happened to arrive in record high July temps. While we had individual cooling units in each bedroom, the living area downstairs only had one small window unit to cool all the rooms. It was too hot in the evening to enjoy visiting downstairs. We suggested to the owners that they put the room cooling units in the living area just before we left. I received a message when I got home with a photo that they had already taken our suggestion and remedied the situation. Talk about responsive! The house was spotless, very comfortable, with five bedrooms plus two single beds in the basement. Communication was the best I’ve ever experienced at a VRBO. Would definitely stay there again. If you have trouble with stairs you should know all bedrooms are upstairs and so are the bathrooms with showers/baths. We had a brown bunny visit the backyard every morning. It was a great place to rest our weary heads each night after exploring the area each day.
