On the corner of Mason and Bay Avenue! Literally right across from the public fishing pier and steps away from the beach. Take a walk down Mason Avenue and enjoy dinner followed by dessert at Brown Dog Ice Cream or Peach Beach Shaved Ice Shack. No need to ever get in your car to enjoy the wonders of Cape Charles in this perfectly located beach house.

The downstairs boasts a huge, open living area and large dining table with formal seating for eight. The modern kitchen has stainless steel appliances and granite countertops with island seating for two more. Gas appliances and tankless hot water heater allow for limitless hot showers when the whole family is visiting.

Upstairs, there are TWO master bedroom sets with king beds as well as three guest bedrooms with a queen bed with attached en-suite, two twin beds, and double bunk beds, respectively.

Outside there is total parking for six cars, a gas grill, and both a deck and balcony with unobstructed views of the Bay.

Wake up and walk out onto the attached balcony from the master bedroom and enjoy coffee taking in fresh air and beautiful views. This home is modern, tasteful, and ideally located for beach access, shopping, dining, or enjoying the views with nothing in your way.

We had such a great stay in Cape Charles. This property was perfect for our large group that was in town for a wedding. The property was spacious and we never felt cramped. Our host was communicative and flexible with our needs. 10/10 would recommend!

Convenient spot for a long weekend

We had a great trip. House has an awesome location right by the public beach. House is set up for kids and very comfortable for a few families. Convenient parking for cars and golf carts with a private driveway and two empty garage bays.

Location, location, location! It doesn't get better than this house. We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful beach house. Three families (with young kids!) shared the space comfortably--it was perfect for our group. The house was clean, spacious, and well-equipped for both adults and littles. MG was great to communicate with and available when needed! We will be booking again for next year.

Love the house… I think it’s the premier location in Cape Charles… bedrooms are very roomy and nice… and the open floor plan downstairs is awesome for family gatherings

Location, Location, Location!

You can not beat the location of this house in Cape Charles! You cross the street and you’re on the beach. You walk one block and you’re among the many charming shops and restaurants in Cape Charles. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will probably come back in the next couple of years.

Best spot on the bay!

This house is a real gem! It was large, clean, beautifully decorated, and at the corner of the bay and all the shops. We could walk everywhere, including church and the park. But the best part was the sunset views from the porch. We can't wait to come back to Cape Charles!

Great stay!

We enjoyed our trip to this property. We had lots of space, and the location can't be beaten. The house was very well stocked with beach equipment and things to entertain our kids (2-8). The house itself is beautiful- tall ceilings, artwork, nice furniture. The lovely large pottery barn kitchen table and chairs made meal time easy given our large group. The host is also super responsive!

Beautiful home!

Cape Charles is a great little town to visit. This house is perfectly situated at the end of the block directly across from the beach. Walking distance to everything! The views from the porches are amazing. Great spots for morning coffee or a cocktail watching the sunset! House was exactly as described, host is great at communicating with you as well. We will definitely be back with the family in the summer.

Cape Charles getaway

Everything was perfect! Our whole group live on the Eastern Shore just 50 miles north of Cape Charles. We wanted to have a fun weekend with our friends under one roof in a location that would take advantage of all Cape Charles has to offer - beach, sunsets, shopping, restaurants all within walking distance. The house was well equipped, perfect location. Communication excellent and quick to respond to all questions. Would definitely recommend 5 stars

Wonderful Stay

Beautiful and comfortable home, kitchen well equipped, terrific location across the street from the beach. Easy to go back and forth during the day for lunch and to put toddler grandson down for a nap. Easy walk to restaurants, ice cream store, shops, and a few bars. MG was a gracious and attentive host. We had 2 minor issues upon arrival and MG solved them quickly. Highly recommend for families with small children. Thank you MG

Beyond perfect

The house had plenty of room to spread out, every amenity you can think of in the kitchen and throughout the house, great wifi, a VERY responsive host, but even with all those accolades, it was the location that stole the show. This house is literally in the best spot in town. Great view, on the corner of beach road and town road, and right between Italian Ice touch and hot dog truck a block away. Have stayed in multiple houses in Cape Charles but we won’t be staying anywhere else again.

Just Perrfect!

We loved the house. It was perfect for our family of 6 adults and 5 young kids. We were able to put two pack n plays in the back master bedroom closet for 1yr old twins to sleep. The open kitchen, dining living room was perfect for us all to spend time together. The large dining table was perfect for meals and playing games. We spent a lot of time on the porch and the balcony. Both were beautiful to gather for breakfast or sunsets or reading.. the proximity to the beach and the town was ideal since our kids were all under the age of 5. We would love to stay here again!

Wonderful stay on the bay!

This home was just perfect for our family of 6 adults and 3 small children. It was even more spacious than the photos in the listing indicated, — very bright, clean, cheery, and conducive to family hangouts when we weren’t enjoying the beach RIGHT ACROSS THE STREET or exploring Main Street right around the corner. The kitchen was well appointed, beach chairs and towels were provided, and there was even a beach cart, cooler, and sand toys available if needed. MG was very responsive to any questions and made us feel so welcomed. I would highly recommend staying here — ideal home base for experiencing all that Cape Charles had to offer.

Prime Location

This property is situated across the street from the main access to the beach. Location is everything when trying to navigate getting 12 people, 4 generations, age 1 to 80 onto the beach. The house is VERY spacious and clean. There was an ownership change between booking and staying. This was a bit of a hiccup, but we worked through it. Some of the amenities changed, but all in all that was minor. I would recommend this rental and we definitely hope to return!

Our recent stay at the VRBO in Cape Charles was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the beauty, modernity, and spaciousness of the home. The 2 master bedrooms was an added bonus! The waterfront location provided us with the most stunning sunset views. The host's attention to detail was impeccable.
