ケープチャールズの美しい町にある待望の夢の家を共有できることをとても楽しみにしています。 私たちの家を「ライトハウスイン」と名付けました。 ビーチから2ブロック、レストラン、ショッピング、図書館、自家製アイスクリームなどがある町から1ブロックの場所にあります。
この新しく改装された2800平方フィートの家には、4ベッドルーム4 1/2バスルーム、リビングルーム、ファミリールーム、ダイニングエリア、キッチン、ガレージがあります。
1階には、クイーンサイズのベッドとシャワー付きのフルバスルームを備えたマスタースイートがあります。 ソファと怠zyな男の子用椅子2脚を備えたリビングルーム。 次に、大きな革の断面と60インチのフラットスクリーンT. Vを備えたファミリールームがあります。 また、ファミリールームから洗濯機と乾燥機を備えた1/2バスがあります。 キッチンには、自宅でくつろぐのに必要なものがすべて揃っています。 キッチンには、追加の座席用の3つのスツール付きの拡張バートップもあります。 ダイニングエリアはキッチンのすぐ外にあり、10席の大きなテーブルがあります。 ダイニングエリアの外には、裏庭のデッキにつながるガラスの引き戸があります。 庭は完全にフェンスで囲まれており、新しいガスグリル、新しい5フィートの喫煙者/炭火グリル、2つのピクニックテーブル、パティオテーブルがあります。 庭の後方にはガレージがあり、そこには卓球台、フーズボール台、ダーツボード、コーンホールボード、バイク、ビーチチェア、ビーチおもちゃ、カヤックなどがあります。 ガレージの前に十分な駐車場もあります。

This house is gorgeous! And the location is perfect! Love that each bedroom has its own en-suite bathroom. Kitchen is fully stocked. Plenty of room to gather or watch TV. Host was very responsive. Lots to do outside and a quick walk to the heart of Cape Charles. Looking for a reason to book this again!!

We absolutely loved our stay at the Lighthouse! It was our first time in Cape Charles and we quickly fell in love with the town—the charm, the beach, the restaurants, and the wonderful people. (Smitty from the Golf Cart shop even fixed the bikes for free!) The house was perfect for us. The rooms were spacious, very clean, and well-kept, and the outdoor space was ideal for relaxing, hanging out, and playing. The location couldn’t have been better—just a quick walk or ride to the beach and Main Street. The host was wonderful—very helpful and full of great recommendations that made our stay even better. We can’t wait to come back and will absolutely be staying at the Lighthouse again!

Perfect for a multi-family vacation! We had 4 families (3 with children) and there was plenty of room for everyone. Within walking distance to the beach and Main Street. Kitchen had every appliance/tool/dish needed to cook anything you can imagine. My only regret is bringing our own beach stuff, they had PLENTY of beach chairs, umbrellas, and beach toys already there in the garage. A few previous reviews mentioned that the room with bunk beds was open to the rest of the house and I was a bit worried about that before we came. I was envisioning a room without a door, but in reality there is just a small overlook above the stairs in the far corner of the room. I actually liked it and it didn’t cause any problems at all. 10/10 recommend!!!

The location was excellent. Super close to the beach and the little town. We enjoyed the outdoor spaces at the house: the patio tables, the front porch, the pingpong and cornhole in garage (though we found Cape Charles to be very buggy - bring lots of bug spray!). Also great to have the beach chairs and umbrellas to use. Having lots of beds in the house was helpful for our group to spread out. The lighthouse theme was cute, especially the front yard one that lights up. There are a LOT of knick-knacks though, we had to move several just to have room for our own stuff. Overall, the house was clean, with some exceptions to the kitchen items, though that may be a reflection of prior guests. Also, know that you can't ship items to the house if they are coming USPS; because there is no mailbox the postal service won't deliver, which we learned the hard way. Also, BYO drinking water. The owner did respond quickly when I mentioned a problem with the laundry machines, and check in/out was as simple as it gets. Overall, a comfortable and relaxing week.

Family Reunion

The house worked perfectly for our family reunion. It was an easy walk to downtown and to the beach. The kitchen and living/dining area was open and welcoming. Everyone enjoyed the house and its location.

Great Family Space!

Visited with our family including 2 adult children and mother in law and thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Kitchen had everything needed to prepare meals at home, front porch and back patio areas were lovely and enjoyed every day. 1st floor bedroom was very helpful for an older guest. Upstairs master bedroom was fabulous and the two additional upstairs rooms provided space for the younger crew. Each room having a bathroom was a real luxury! Wonderful stay! .

Great place, great time!

We’ve been to Cape Charles multiple times and this has been our best stay so far! The house is roomy and equipped with pretty much anything you’ll need for your stay. The host is friendly and prompt. The beds are okay, but at least there are plenty of options! We’d definitely stay here again.

Clean, Well Stocked, Great Backyard

Loved the proximity of town and the beach, the backyard and great communication. The only thing I wish I knew is that the one bigger bunk room is open to the rest of the house which made sleeping with kids a bit more challenging. Otherwise, definitely a beautiful, clean home. Thank you so much!

Nice property, would stay again!

We spent a mid-May week at the Lighthouse Inn. Spacious, clean, many bathrooms, plenty of beach/recreation equipment provided. We only used the sand toys, but everything looked well kept. Pros: - Location can’t be beat. A block off the main street, a few blocks from the beach, and a few blocks from the city park. - Plenty of space for our family group of four adults and a toddler. We liked the configuration of three bedrooms up, one on the main floor. The master suite is really large. - Kitchen was well equipped. Everything in the house was in good working order. - Nice to have heat/cooling controls on both levels. - Beds were comfy. Cons: - Equipment listed a high chair, but there wasn’t one in the house. Quickly remedied once we contacted the owner. - We had issues with small ants in the dining & kitchen area. Owner immediately provided traps and spray, but the issue persisted on and off all week. I know they plan to treat for them right after we leave, so my guess is that this won’t be an issue for future guests. - The property is very nice inside but has a lot of fragile knickknacks. We’d expect to do some toddler-proofing anyplace to keep things out of reach, but this was quite a bit to move and then replace when we left. Fortunately, there were plenty of closets for storage. But if you are traveling with small kids, plan to spend some time at the beginning and end to make sure the items are kept safe. Overall a very good stay and we'd rent again!

Perfect spot!

This is the second time we have stayed at your lovely property for the 100 mile CBES fundraising bike ride. It's always perfect. Beds are comfortable. Home is spotless. Communication is excellent. Check-in is SO SO SO simple. Access to the outdoor gas fire pit would have been wonderful. We hope to see you for the same weekend-and the same bike ride- next year.

Family trip

We enjoyed our stay at this house. Front porch in the morning and backyard in the evening. Very comfortable easy vibe. The kitchen had everything we needed for preparing dinners. Highly recommend.

Love the Lighthouse Inn

Our family was in town for a wedding, we wanted to be within walking distance to town. This property is one street back from the shopping/dining area, it was SO convenient. We were not fans of the city tap water for drinking, but the refrigerator water dispenser has a filter and you might want to bring a jug of filtered water for the coffee maker. We hope to return to CC and stay at the property again when we have more time to explore the area and take advantage of the inviting back yard.

5th Annual Cape 9 golf trip to Cape Charles.

This house is great for groups; so many beds. Christine's house is beautiful, clean, well-appointed, comfortable, etc. Unfortunately, the local golf course, Bay Creek, has gone private and it is more difficult to make a tee time. We had our last outing the past 2 days and will probably look elsewhere for our 6th annual trip. We will miss The Lighthouse; I can't say enough good things about it! We will miss you Christine!

Quaint Escape

This was our first visit to Cape Charles and we will definitely be back! The house was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The owners were wonderful and responsive. The back deck really added to our relaxation. We had everything we needed and loved the proximity to the beach.

I'm Christine and my husband is John. We have 3 children Nicholas, Brooke and Jamie. We moved to Virginia Beach from New York 17 years ago. John has been an Electrician since the age of 16, had a business in New York and started a new business in Virginia Beach. Eleven years ago he was asked to do an electrical job in Cape Charles for a new home that was being built. Once he laid his eyes on that fishing pier that was it! That night he came home it was all he could talk about. Two days later we took a ride over with our fishing poles and spent the whole day there. We did some fishing, had lunch, browsed through the shops, walked around, looked at all the old houses and said some day we will have a house here! And here we are eleven years later, our dream came true.

We looked at ALOT and I mean ALOT of homes for sale in Cape Charles. This one was one of the first that we looked at. We kept coming back to it but kept thinking there was something better like everyone does. But I'm so happy we choose this house. I love the fact that every bedroom has it own bathroom. The size of the bedrooms are very nice, so many houses had such small bedrooms. I like how open it is and the fact that it has a garage. Most homes here do not have a garage. After we put much sweat and hard work into it, it's just perfect for us!

We love the fact that this house is so close to the beach and just around the corner from the town it's just the perfect location. We did look at a few others that we liked but they were not as close to the beach or the town.
