Welcome to Nicolet Getaway! This large, renovated 4 bedroom log home is tucked away in the Nicolet National Forest between Land O' Lakes and Phelps just north of Eagle River and across the street from Lac Vieux Desert and Kildare Lake. The cabin is a year-round home located ON the snowmobile/ATV/UTV trails. Ideal location for fishing the numerous lakes all around, hiking, biking, paddling from the Headwaters of the Wisconsin River, trail riding and ALL Northwoods outdoor recreation adventures.

Great stay in the north woods

My parents, husband and children and I had plenty of space in the house. It was clean and comfortable. We did not need to use the kitchen facilities, we were just really there for sleeping and showering. But the laundry facilities were really nice to have!

Quick weekend getaway

The cottage fit our family perfectly. With three full bathrooms, there was no fighting getting ready for a family wedding that was a mile away from the cottage.Our 2 year old granddaughter loved to watch the horses!!

It was cozy and we had plenty of room.

We had plenty of room for 9 adults and a baby. It was cozy and clean. The only negative was the oven did not work and we were unaware. We wasted a lot of food that we couldn’t cook.

Wood ants in the house. Light in lower shower is like a strobe light. Flashing all the time. Should go to a second hand store and get some living room furniture. Hard to sit.

Could have used more help

The home was a chilly 64 degrees upon our arrival, so I texted the owner for help. He sent messages through the VRBO website but never came to fix the problem. Also, the living quarters were on a different floor than the bedrooms. This should have been in the description. I was traveling with 2 others who had difficulty with stairs.
