Outstanding New Beach House - Ready to Relax or Play

Sather’s Cove is the perfect place to relax or play, read books in front of the fireplace or storm watch in the winter. Our home is a new 2 story home with 3 bedrooms and 3 baths, with an open and accessible layout, perfect for a family trip to the beach.

Located just a short 3 minute walk to the beach in a private gated community (Kiwanda Shores) and within walking distance to downtown Pacific City, the Pelican Brew Pub and Cape Kiwanda Dunes.

The main living area is downstairs with many places to sit and relax by the fireplace, listen to music or watch a movie.. The kitchen comes fully equipped with granite countertops and open dining area. A sliding door leads to a private sheltered back deck with outdoor patio furniture and a gas BBQ. A bedroom with queen bed and a full bath with shower round out the downstairs.

Upstairs includes 2 bedrooms and a play area with a TV/DVD/VCR & game console and Xbox 360. The master suite is furnished in cherry wood with a King sleigh bed, its own gas fireplace, private deck, and full bath. The second bedroom is set up with bunk beds--double on bottom & twin on top and a twin trundle. Just down the hall there is another full bath with shower & tub.

Other amenities for our guests to enjoy include: 5 Bikes - 2 adult/3 kids, toys and games for the entire family, propane BBQ, outdoor shower to wash off after a FUN day at the beach, boogie boards and beach toys. There is something for everyone.

TIPS about our home: In the morning catch the rising sun on the back deck with breakfast outdoors. The covered deck allows relaxing, even when it’s raining. Our favorite place to relax and enjoy the sounds of the Ocean is on the master bedroom deck. Try sitting here during sunset, listening to the Ocean and reading a book…PERFECT!!!!! When the sun finally drops, retire to the master bedroom and enjoy the gas fireplace while still listening to the Ocean.

Great Beach Getaway

Spent a wonderful spring break at this lovely home. Short distance from beach access. Great bike trails through the neighborhood for our kids. Took a quick day trip to nearby Tillamook Creamery and endured a treck up the Pacific City Dune! (Well worth the view) The house was lovely and well stocked, met all our needs and then some and the hosts were quick to respond with any questions we had. Will book again!

Perfect Winter Getaway

Perfect winter getaway for family get together. House, neighborhood, location to beach, and correspondence with owners was wonderful. This is our second visit to this beautiful home, and I hope we get to return again.

Very nice home

Nicely laid out house for a family.

This is a nice house to have family meals in and sleeps a number of people. It was easy to keep both the 4 year old and one and a half year old safe. The walk to beach access was short. We really enjoyed the back deck.

Great family home

We returned for a second year because the house is perfect for our family who loves Pacific City. Can walk to the beach and to restaurants. We did have a problem with the garbage disposal and the owner responded promptly.

Better than the photos!

The location is quiet and very close to the beach (just a short walk around the block, basically). The house and property was very clean. There were plenty of clean linens, blankets and towels for us. The heating worked well and we really enjoyed time by the gas fireplace. The beds were comfortable. My only complaint is that we didn't stay long enough! Many happy memories were created during our short stay. We would love to return in the future.

Lovely Family Beach Home

Perfect large home for our 3-generation family getaway. Children’s bunk room and gorgeous master suite are situated upstairs, with one bedroom and separate bathroom downstairs. Open kitchen, dining and family rooms accommodate cooking together, visiting, playing games, and watching movies around the gas fireplace. Outdoors, deer stroll around the quiet gated neighborhood; and it’s a quick walk to the beach, where we saw a pod of whales heading south!

Great house- only problem we were out of power the first night and 1/2 of first day, not that this was the property owners fault! Huge coastal storm! The house was beautiful comfortable and well stocked wr enjoyed our stay!

Beautiful get-away just a few minutes walk from the beach.

Our experience was excellent! The home was beautiful (as advertised), super clean and just a short walk from a gorgeous beach, dunes and tide pools. A slice of paradise. The door locking system gave us a run for our money--but we eventually go the hang of it. Jeff was an absolute perfect host--very responsive, flexible and super helpful.

Finally settling on Pacific City as the perfect place, with fishing, surfing, tide pools, hiking, and beautiful sunsets. This sleepy little town is a perfect get away.
