The location was great. Felt safe in our surroundings, the home was clean and well stocked. Parking was great w access to garage parking, everything was as expected.
Thank you, Billy, for your kind review! We're delighted to hear that you enjoyed the cleanliness of the house and found the location convenient. It was a pleasure hosting you, and we hope to welcome you back again on a future visit!
This home met all of our needs! It was in the perfect location, the home was clean and well stocked and the check out process was so easy compared to other homes we've stayed at. Also, Nathaniel was so easy to work with! We will definitely book this home on our return trip back to Portland!
We were welcomed with a fresh bouquet of flowers and fine chocolate when we arrived. The house had everything we needed, to include coffee and basics for cooking. Living room furniture was comfy. Beds were very comfortable. Back yard was peaceful with a water feature, patio furniture and picnic table. We would definitely stay here again.
Clean and comfortable. Convenient location to shopping and freeway. The garage was a huge help as we were moving our kid out of the college dorm. Nice large fenced yard. A little noise from the neighbor next door banging on things - but not enough to To disturb our stay. We would definitely stay again!
We really enjoyed our stay in this very cozy home! We were in town for a wedding. This location was perfect and really so close to everything we wanted to do. Nathaniel was great to deal with! The backyard and patio area were very nice also. We would definitely come and stay here again!! Thank you Nathaniel!!
The location of this property is excellent. 10-15 minutes from downtown and half way to wine country. Space/bedrooms are as described. We had our dog with us so it was nice to have a fenced in yard. Also it was very convenient to have a house with a usable garage and a garage door opener. Close to stores and restaurants.

This is a great little house in a convenient neighbourhood. There is grocery and amenity shopping within walking distance. The house is quiet. It has 3 bedrooms and 2 baths, a garage and a fenced yard. Everything is comfortable and in working order. The owners have thought of every detail we could need for our stay.
Perfect long term stay while visiting friends and family in area
Check in and check out process was a breeze and our friendly host, Nathaniel, was exceptionally responsive to our questions. We were able to park in the garage, making loading and unloading our car much easier. The house was clean, quiet, very well stocked, and the location was outstanding, near Fred Meyer, Walmart, Costco, Planet Fitness, many restaurants, ...., and Washington Square Mall. We enjoyed the peaceful backyard with a water feature and played cornhole with our kids and grandkids. Split AC in every room and it worked great during the occasional hot spell. A great place to stay and we hope to come back in the future.
This home fit our needs perfectly. We arrived in Oregon in our motorhome for a family event. We wanted a vrbo to share with 2 other adults who would have to work remotely during our stay. Not only was there a space on the side to park our RV, but each bedroom had a desk which was perfect for working from their computers. The only reason for 4 stars for listing accuracy is that a hot tub was listed in the amenities, but there wasn’t one. When asked about it, the owner apologized and stated that it was a mistake in the listing. Overall, a very nice place.
The bathroom temperture during shower was a major problem as the temperature was either very hot or very cold.Trying to control the temperature during shower time was a major problem. Otherwise, place was clean, we just needed to air out the place. Also, complete instruction manual on what to do as we leave the premise was not available.
We visited Portland to see my son, daughter-in-law and grandson. The house was in a perfect location, only 10 minutes from my son and down the block from Fred Meyers and other stores, which was a plus. The house was exactly as pictured and advertised. It was clean, modern, comfortable, and the kitchen and bathrooms were stocked with basic items needed for our stay. Check-in and check-out was a breeze, and communication with Nathanial was seamless. He responded to our questions immediately and also advised us if there was anything further we needed to know. Since my son lives in Portland, we will be visiting the area at least a couple of times a year and look forward to booking this location again.
Incredible house. Well-maintained and equipped, thouhtfully stocked. We hosted several holiday dinners with extended family, up to 13 people (only 4 of us actually stayed st the house). Plenty of room. Had family bring additional dishes and silverware, but cooking and serving equipment was ample. Two bedrooms also had desks, which worked great for a little remote work. Yard was awsome for our dog, if a bit wet. It was not hard to keep him out of the small pond, but your mileage may vary. "Pool table" and "air hocky" were miniatures that went with the foosball table. Not a big deal for us, but be aware.Great TV setup, but be sure to sign out of your subscriptions before you leave.Overall, great stay with family for the holidays.
The property was just as described on the VRBO app and website. It was very well located and was just minutes off the interstate in a quiet neighborhood. The communication was flawless and all our questions were promptly answered prior to booking. We really enjoyed staying at this excellent VRBO, especially that the property was all on the ground level and the showers had a space to sit down while showering...this was important to me because of my mobility issues. The small step into and out of the property was well-marked to help eliminate trip hazards. The property was very comfortable and laid out well. Having the split air conditioning units in each bedroom and the living area was a big plus because each could be individually controlled. The property manager was easy to contact via the VRBO app and by phone. This was important to us because during our stay we experienced a family emergency at home in Florida which required us to depart the Portland area two days early. We notified the property manager of this and they graciously refunded 75% of the cost of those two days even though we were well past the cancellation date. This is nothing short of superb service.I highly recommend the VRBO property...YOU WILL BE GLAD YOU CHOSE IT!
This VRBO is an older home that has been "updated". It was good enough for our two night stay, but there were a couple broken things. The location on the south side of Portland was great. Close proximity to Costco was an added bonus.
We stayed here over the weekend with family while attending a graduation in town, and it comfortably accommodated three adult couples with plenty of space for everyone. The garage was a huge bonus for secure parking, and there was also ample parking available outside. I’ve stayed in many VRBOs over the years, and I’ve never seen one so well stocked with amenities. It truly had everything we needed and more! We were especially excited to find a clothing steamer, which came in very handy for our grad party outfits. The home was exceptionally clean, cozy, modern, and comfortable. The beds and furniture were all very comfortable, making it easy to relax after busy days. The backyard was beautiful, with a peaceful pond and patio area that made for a great place to unwind. The location was also excellent- close to Fred Meyer, restaurants, and shopping, making everything convenient. We happened to come on a weekend when this area had a heat wave, around 90 days and the house stayed so cool and comfortable, it was so nice! This place was an absolute gem in the Portland area, and we will definitely be staying here again. Highly recommend!
We enjoyed our week-long stay at the Spruce St. house while there for my daughter’s graduation from Reed College. The property was clean, comfortable and had a lovely backyard (and gas grill) to hang out at so we BBQ’d. We had plenty of towels and blankets! The only thing—not a big deal really—was there was only a small 5-cup coffee cup for 8 of us, but we made it work…besides that, all was wonderful! Thank you, Nathaniel!

Thank you so much for your wonderful review! It was truly a pleasure hosting you and your family during such a special milestone! I’m so happy to hear the house was comfortable for your week-long stay and that you were able to enjoy the backyard and BBQ together. That’s exactly the kind of memorable gathering space we hope guests experience.
I also appreciate your note about the coffee maker—that’s very helpful feedback, and I’ll be sure to address it so future groups are even more comfortable. Thank you again for being such lovely guests, and you’re always welcome back anytime you’re in Portland!
