Wonderful Wintergreen Mountain Retreat!

We had a wonderful ski weekend with the mornings and evenings spent in this wonderfully comfortable and fun property. We enjoyed the hot tub, pool table and the gorgeous views. The 3 boys loved the Arcade bedroom and our daughter loved sipping hot cocoa by the fire. We will be back for sure!

The perfect get-away

We had an amazing time at the Wildbriar Lodge. The house was beautiful, with a great layout, very comfortable and fun, and gorgeous views. The house was well stocked for everything we needed and Elizabeth was extremely helpful and supportive. It was a 2 minute drive to the slopes and the Wintergreen resort. We will definitely stay at Wildbriar again!

Perfect Mountain Escape

This house was perfect for our mountain getaway. We enjoyed nightly fires in the living room, used the brand new grill to make meals, played poker around the poker table with the brand new box of poker chips. The large bedrooms provided ample space and privacy for everyone. The house had incredible sunset views and was a short drive to the slopes. It was exactly what we needed. We will be back!

House was a great combination of bedrooms and bathrooms for 12 of us. Communication with manager was great. View from master bedroom was amazing but trees blocked views elsewhere. House is somewhat dated and hallway bath was leaking. Dryer needed fixing, but manager was helpful. Great things to do in area- hiking, winery’s and water park for kids.

Overall a good place for a family trip

Overall the house was very nice and in a beautiful location with great views. The bedrooms and bathrooms were generally clean. The kitchen was well supplied with everything we needed. We loved the views of the Shenandoah valley. Two negatives to note - there was evidence of mice on the kitchen counter. A package of hot cocoa mix appeared to have been chewed and there were what appeared to be mouse droppings on the counter. Don’t know how old this was. We never actually saw any mice and after cleaning up the kitchen we did not find any further evidence of rodents for the rest of our stay. The second thing we noticed was the deck on the main level had a couple of spots where a nail head or point was protruding slightly from the deck surface. These could potentially cause injury and because we had small children with us, we were concerned. Both of these problems I’ve listed are ones that can be easily addressed. While we very much enjoyed our stay overall, I thought it important to mention these concerns.
