Our Bradenton / Palma Sola home is stylish and spacious, yet incredibly cozy! With a luxurious, hip vibe and warm ambiance, it is the perfect place to relax, unwind, lounge by the heated pool (moderate upcharge) and cook an amazing meal at home after a fun day out at one of the nearby beaches! The Coquina Haus is the perfect place for someone looking for a tropical family vacation in a beautiful and safe area, or simply needing a change of scenery, with multiple work from home options, as well as 3x KING bedrooms!!

Rich in amenities, with access to both beach supplies and on-site laundry, as well as a fully and beautifully equipped kitchen, you will have everything you need to have an incredible time.

0.5 miles to Riverview Point Reserve (side entrance) /Desoto Memorial (end of street car parking) - incredible sunset walks right on the water (salt water, can swim in the Bay, locals' secret spot)!

We had a wonderful stay at Jeff and Lyn's place. The home is beautiful, and the pool yard was the perfect setup for our family vacation. Despite cooler than expected temperatures, the heated pool allowed the children to still swim each day, which was fantastic. Jeff and Lyn were extremely kind and communicative, which we also greatly appreciated. 10/10 recommend!

We recently traveled for a mini vacation and the experience in this rental unit was exceptional. The host ( Lyn and Jeff) were very communicative from the beginning of the reservation. Our family of 11, 3 households, ages 7 mos -66y had a wonderful time April 8-14. We had the pool heated and the temperature was perfect. Drive to the beach, Manatee, was simple. 10 min. Beds we’re all comfortable. Plenty of towels and linens. Great stay!

Perfect for family vacations!

For us the pool was a saving grace! The kids were never for lack of something to do. Most of the sites we wanted to see were not a far distance from the house. Groceries were 5 minutes away. Other than the bunk beds they were super comfy and the house was extremely clean and well stocked for cooking! The host was always quick with response. Overall made for a great stay for me and my family.

Palma Sola was the perfect place for our family vacation that included kids (between 9 and 15 years old) and adults! The house was very clean and had everything we needed and more… from kitchen items to beach towels and beach chairs. The kids enjoyed the pool and we spent a lot of time on Ana Maria Island which is beautiful. It is a very short drive to the island from the house. We also enjoyed the walking path at the nearby reserve. It is a beautiful place to walk and has lovely views of the water. Lyn was wonderful to communicate with and “check in” was easy. We love this part of Florida and would definitely recommend Palma Sola!

We have been married for more than 40 years and have 3 grown children, and 4 granddaughters! We like to travel to see new places, meet new people and experience other cultures. When traveling to new places, we like to get past the tourist attractions and experience the "real" location. Getting a chance to meet local people and share a meal is the best. Jeff plays guitar and we both enjoy all kinds of music, especially jazz. Lyn loves to bake, reading, and enjoys writing non-fiction.

We've lived in the US, Canada and Poland and Jeff has traveled to Russia, Belarus, Germany, Australia, Austria, Italy, Mexico, Uraguay and Chile. We hope to see many more places! We like to travel light and travel like the locals as much as possible. In the US, our favorite spots to relax are along the North Shore of Lake Superior and the beautiful Gulf of Mexico.
If it helps anyone, we understand and can speak some Polish (Jeff) and German (Lyn).

When we're not traveling, we love hosting friends for dinner and weekends in our own home. Lyn's a fantastic cook and a relaxed hostess. We love people!

We love the Sarasota/Palma Sola area! Our family has been coming to this beautiful place since our kids were little, and it's become a very special and meaningful spot. We've made so many beautiful memories here, all our kids call Sarasota their 2nd home. We can't wait for you to experience the quaint downtown, and r&r at the beach and poolside. We know you'll fall in love with it as much as we have!
