The 1 mile drive up to the house is a winding narrow road so take it slow as there were often deer. Once to the house, you’re treated to Stunningly beautiful views. The house was for our large family for my daughter’s wedding- it worked well for family to gather as we all got read and the photographer loved the vistas for her pictures.

Best place!!

We had an event at this house, such a beautiful location and everything was so clean and well organized. Our guests couldnt stop raving about the location of the house. Must stay!! Also shoutout to Teddy for being an absolute lovely and accomodating host. He was really flexible with the check in and check out timjngs.

Beautiful Home, Amazing View!

We absolutely enjoyed or stay at this home. The property was well-maintained and was very comfortable for our large group. The wrap-around balcony and breathtaking views were truly spectacular and made this property truly special. Really appreciate the host's communication and making sure we would have enough gas for the grill, clear directions and instructions, etc. Would love to come back in the future!

It would be fine for $500 per night, but we paid much more. The house is run down. Many appliances and outlets didn't work. Water pressure is low. Cobwebs, debris, and used masks around furniture and in drawers. The kitchen was missing some basics like oven mitts. There were ants when we arrived. Great for a keg party but not for a family reunion

Can't believe we spend all seasons here.

Wonderful house! We had a great time in this beautiful place , which is spacious with gorgeous views. It looks new and very clean. They have a huge deck and large parking area for many cars that enables it better for big gatherings or events . There are more bedrooms ,extra space with sofas , user friendly office as well as playroom, also not far from downtown. We all enjoyed our stay and Teddy is the best host being very friendly and responsible. He gave us flexible checking in and out time and highly respect our privacy while being far away from neighbours. We will definitely be back and recommend to other friends.

Sewage backups, ants, chickens, moldy food

Had to take a few days to cool down before writing a review for this. This is probably our last time using Vrbo, so we’ll speak our minds. Biggest problem was the plumbing. There were sewage backups three of the five mornings we were in the home. We essentially couldn’t use toilets or showers half of the days of our stay. Our friends had to bail sewage from a shower as we waited 2+ hours for a plumber. Plumbers came three days in a row without actually fixing the problem. The host blamed us for using too much toilet paper, but there was a bidet in only one of the five rest rooms, so not clear how we were at fault. We also found a review elsewhere mentioning the same problem. This home needs to fix plumbing before claiming it can accommodate 15+ guests. Additionally, during our stay there was an ant problem that we weren’t warned about. We lost $40 of food on the first night to ants. Other features not mentioned in the description include a chicken coop 20 feet from the property (with a rooster that crowed as early as 4am) as well as a broken outdoor fridge on the back deck that contains some mysterious jar of molded food.

We still thank you for choosing our house for your stay . We apologise for any sudden inconveniences out of our control. None of the problems are long lasting and fixed on time in the earliest possible days. The rooster was already provided as big plate chicken for friends, you can’t hear his singing anymore. The pest control company service came to check and solved ant related issues as it is easy for them, the backside outdoor fridge already removed .But we think review for personal purpose might not appropriate in public. You might have too many overnight guests and used the bathrooms at the same time while throwing paper in the toilet, which caused the pipe line blockage. We tried over best to solve it as quickly as possible , yet it needed time as it was weekend and some plumbers were not available. Actually people can see from another website/ platform that the issues you mentioned are not a concern, the majority of our guests appreciate the beauty of the house and enjoyed their gatherings. Still appreciate your stay with us . Hope we can provide a better experience next time. Best wishes!
