Quiet hours must be observed between 10 PM and 8 AM.
Occupancy is limited to 8 during quiet hours (excluding children under 5). Steps required to access, limited cell service, 2 exterior security cameras (facing out)
PARKING: Driveway (3 vehicles), RV parking. Guests will have access to the entire home except the owner/cleaner closet.

This is a quiet neighborhood with lots of trees and wildlife. It’s very common for a family of deer to spend time on the property.

A vehicle is required to explore the area. We are in the hills near Sly Park. Also, please check the weather for snow conditions during November-March.

Snow! We are so close to Tahoe and do see snow from November-March. We recommend checking the weather forecast for the Sly Park/Pollock Pines area.  During snow time, we recommend that you have chains or 4WD/AWD.

Beautiful house on the Hill

House was a clean spacious beautiful home! My family and I truly enjoyed the home we where in town for a wedding. Definitely plan on another trip there just to relax and enjoy the area.

Great Family Christmas

We had a wonderful time together in this beautiful home. The kitchen was well supplied, which made cooking together a breeze. The beds were super comfortable and there were enough bathrooms for everyone to be comfortable. The owners included a beautiful Christmas Tree which helped make our time together memorable. Loved this property and hope to come back again!

Family Reunion

Our host was amazing at communication for our stay. It was perfect our family to have so much room to spread out for sleeping yet a comfy living room and kitchen to cook and watch the Olympics together. The neighborhood is so quiet. It was so peaceful to sit on the deck and listen to nature. We hope to stay again next summer.

Girls Spiritual Weekend

This home is in a beautiful, quiet wooded area about 15 minutes off Hwy 50. The home has 4 bedroom and 3 bathrooms which was great for our girls group. The home was cozy and clean and had pretty much everything we needed to cook. The home has skylights and lots of windows so it's bright and welcoming. We were able to do yoga on the beautiful back patio in the mornings and take some nice walks in the afternoons and evenings. Close to Apple HIll & Wineries which was a fun outing from the home as well.

Girls stay

5 women get together annually in different location every year. Nice kitchen, Netflix, huge deck, good size bedrooms. The downside was the unbearable heat and smoke from the Mosquito fire.

Quiet base for exploring Gold Country

Wife and I stayed here while kids were at camp. Super quiet location, great for relaxing. House was clean and well stocked, including one of the nicest kitchens I’ve seen in a rental. Saw quite a few deer and various birds. Internet was great for streaming movies. Only drawback was the remote location if you need something the local store didn’t have; closest restaurants/shops are 15-20 minutes away down a winding road - best to plan ahead. In all, we really enjoyed the stay.

The house was beautiful-exactly as pictured. The kitchen had everything we needed and the location was perfect for our interests (wine tasting & nature). The lake was closer and better than we expected. Overall, he had a great time here and hope to return again one day.
