Another Great Stay at South Hampton

We enjoy going to South Hampton in Kingston Plantation so much. It's become a yearly trip for us, and we will be booking again. The facilities are fun for all ages, and the property is incredibly safe and well maintained.

Vacation oasis

The property and facilities were more than above our expectations. The condo itself is beautifully renovated and furnished. The keyless access made everything very simple. All the facilities at the various locations made the vacation a lot of fun for everyone. Definitely hope to return in the near future.

Enjoyed this condo

My family and I enjoyed our stay at this condo. We came to Kingston for a conference and were pleased to see that the building connected directly to the conference center at the Embassy Suites. The building is definitely older but the condo itself has been beautifully remodeled. Beds were comfortable and the views from the balconies were great. Only two minor complaints, one of which is not anyone’s fault. As mentioned in another review, there is a good bit of outside noise during the night, specifically from delivery trucks. The kitchen could use some updated pots/pans/utensils etc. The pans were very old and difficult to use. If you plan on cooking, maybe bring some of your own items. Otherwise, everything was great! We plan to try and stay here again next year.

Clean and Comfortable

Overall the condo is what it describes. However, what they don’t tell you is how loud it is. It is by the delivery trucks which are very loud. Starting at 6 AM until night they are making deliveries. Also, the guest bedroom has an adjoining door beside it to a room that is rented out nightly. You can hear and understand every word being said along with their TV, shower, and blow dryer. I We were looking forward to sitting in the white rocking chairs that are pictured, but there were none. It is clean and comfortable but due to the noise level from the delivery trucks and adjoining room we will not stay their again. Jackie L

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a beautiful condo. The space is clean and tastefully updated. The beds are comfortable and the TVs are big and in every room. You really can’t go wrong if you stay at Kingston Resort in terms of entertainment including the multiple pools, slides, restaurants, etc. The downside of this particular condo is that it’s located near the loading dock for the restaurant. We were awakened staring at 6:30am, every morning by the loud beeping, that echoed from delivery trucks. It was so annoying and unpleasant. Another inconvenience is the en-suite master bathroom. The space for it is huge, however the shower and toilet are situated in a water closet that is so small and narrow you can’t really close the bathroom door. The kitchen cookware was sparse and damaged/ruined. The management team was great about replacing the skillet and large pot immediately when I informed them that they were unusable, but it was still an inconvenience. Another small inconvenience is that there’s no k-cup coffee machine. I know it’s not required, but I think it would be very helpful to have one in this unit. Would I stay in this unit again? Absolutely not!! That loud beeping in the morning drove me and my family nuts. It’s a beautiful unit, but they need to find a way to quiet/silence the delivery trucks when they’re unloading (driving in reverse) for me to reconsider staying in this particular unit.

Reviewer Comments: My family and I have stayed at Kingston Plantation for 20+ years and this past week we stayed at 908 South Hampton and it was a fantastic place to stay. The condo was very clean and decorated so nicely. It had just the right amount of space. The resort was awesome with so much to do. The beach, the outdoor pools, the indoor pool along with the fitness center. My kids favorite part was The Currents Waterpark. Courtney was great to work with and very quick to answer if we had any questions or concerns. My family and I will definitely continue to stay at Kingston Plantation.
