About Doug Tree
We love the Ko Olina Beach Villas and are confident you will feel the same if you decide to Stay at Ko Olina. We raised five children and have found memories from many vacations. When we started taking vacations we stayed only at hotels, until we discovered it is possible to stay in luxury villas with full kitchens, multiple bedrooms and bathrooms, living rooms, large flat screen TVs all in an upscale resort and at a very affordable price What a great discovery that was for us. No more tripping over each other in a hotel room, no more crowded spaces, no more fighting over the bathroom. Instead what you’ll find at the Ko Olina Beach Villa is a designer kitchen with full size sub zero fridge, top of the line stove, oven, microwave and dishwasher. We really enjoy stopping at Costco or the local grocery store and stocking the fridge. We have lots of fond memories of baking cookies, cinnamon rolls, eating ice cream, having fresh fruit and all at affordable prices. Fond memories of playing cards and games, no irritability from tripping over each other in cramped spaces. When we visited Ko Olina we soon realized this was a special resort, and the Ko Olina Beach Villas was the most beautiful place to stay in all of Ko Olina. We loved it so much we purchased one of the luxurious beach villas. If you're lucky enough to find an opening when you'll be vacationing in Hawaii we are sure you'll have a great Stay at Ko Olina.

Why Doug Tree chose Kapolei
From a recent guest: "Last year we stayed in the ocean tower and it was fabulous. Now that we know the property a little better, we were hoping to find a rental a little closer to beach/pool. Your rental is beautiful and just what we need." B-208 is the closest 2nd floor villa to the beach on the sunset side. There are other housing options at the Ko Olina resort, but you will soon find the best place to stay by far is the Beach Villas at Ko Olina. So when we talk about your 'Stay at Ko Olina' we are talking about the best, staying at the Honu lagoon, at the Ko Olina Beach Villas. Whether your vacation is with family or friends you'll find a spacious, luxurious, and affordable two bedroom villa waiting for you if you Stay at Ko Olina. The price is equivalent to a single deluxe small hotel room with ocean view and with one bath and no kitchen or laundry, and beats the price of two or three hotel rooms which in most cases would still be less space and not as luxurious as your Ko Olina Beach Villa. So if you are looking to make memories we hope you’ll make your reservation with us. Stay at Ko Olina is the perfect vacation.
What makes this Villa unique
Closest 2nd floor villa to beach on the desired sunset side. Premium Villa - B-208 is our second home which means the amenities in B-208 are nicer and newer than most villas. Competitive rates - Although B-208 is a premium condo at the beach villas resort, our prices remain very competitive and are often lower than villas without as nice of view of further away from the beach.

i had read all the reviews and with 4.8 / 5 start overall - you can't go wrong. it is perfect. view fantastic as shows in photo. lanai perfect. having beach equipment very nice - chairs, snorkel, boogie boards, fins. thank you much for great stay.
It’s all fantastic: communication was timely with Mr. Tree, Louie was FABULOUS (consistently helpful and available for local recommendations), the place was very clean, quiet, beautiful view. I would stay here again. :)
A great Place to stay for beach fun!
The property is very clean, well appointed and very convenient for beach fun. Our grand children had a really great time with the beach so accessible. The beach swimming and play area is one of the best we have been and seen, very family friendly.
Would Come Back in a Heartbeat
We had a few hiccups initially with the internet, cable, stove and AC but the staff quickly fixed these issues. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen has everything you need if you choose to cook, the sunsets from the lanai were unreal, there was easy beach access as the stairs are right next to this condo, however coming back up this door is not accessible, lovely grounds and there were beach chairs/toys and snorkeling equipment and boogie boards. (There was even stuff for infant accommodations but we did not need this) In my opinion this was significantly more relaxing than staying in Honolulu/Waikiki and convenient for day trips all over the island. There are restaurants walkable in the resort center and along the other lagoons. Lagoon 2 was also the cleanest and least used of all the lagoons and was never overly crowded. Unless you were looking for a full service resort, I have no idea why you would stay anywhere else.
There was not a thing that we did not like. We had 9 family members staying in 2 side by side units. They were very comfortable and it was so nice having everything close by. Everything that was described to us was perfect.
