Family Home Near Bidwell Park

The home is a block from Bidwell Park with swimming holes, hiking and playgrounds at your doorstep. It is a short drive/bike ride down Vallombrosa Avenue to the University and downtown Chico and is filled with books, musical instruments, and places to relax for families or couples/friends traveling together.

Absolutely NO SMOKING inside or out.

The space is filled with thoughtful touches in a quiet and idyllic Chico location. Several amenities for families and larger groups. It is a haven and our family hopes you enjoy the space as much as we have.

Guests have full access to the house and yard. Guests are welcome to use the BBQ and pick vegetables from the garden.

If you have any questions, big or small, please don't hesitate to ask! We want your stay to be as comfortable as possible.

Great Stay

This property is awesome, great location near Bidwell Park access to grocery stores and restaurants. Great for kids the enclosed backyard with windows to see everything and swings for the kids, one word awesome.

Great location and wonderful hosts. The owners were very responsive and gracious throughout our stay. This was our first visit to the area, and we really appreciated how close the home is to Bidwell Park. The house met all of our needs and was spacious enough that we never felt crowded. The neighborhood was quiet and welcoming—we even met a few neighbors who kindly offered us fresh lemons and oranges from their tree. We would definitely stay here again.

Good house in a good location

Our group came to Chico for the Snow Goose Festival and it was particularly nice to be close to the park. The host was very responsive and accommodating and the house worked really well for our group.

Family wedding

The house was a perfect fit for a large family to get ready for a wedding and then have a cookout for Memorial Day. The location was perfect for morning walks in the Bidwell Park. We would definitely stay there again!

Our family looks forward every year to go to our home state of California. Our stay in Chico near Bidwell felt like home! House was welcoming, clean and well decorated for Cali friends. Backyard is best feature along with great garden. Kids were happy and cooking was great.

Great family friendly house!

My friends and I stayed here for the weekend while our friend was getting married. We were impressed by how family friendly the house was with toys for kids and a great back yard with swings and a sandpit. It was also a lovely space for us adults to enjoy too! Definitely recommend!

Great Family Home

The property was perfect for our needs. Very kid-friendly and clean. Lots of room for everyone. A full size microwave would take it to ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The Free Little Library out front was so sweet. A great experience.

The Host was very kind and always fast to respond when I had questions. The home was a great location to meet up with my Siblings. My brother enjoyed having his own space in the Studio. The Home had lots of extra blankets and Towels and the back yard was well kept. I have to buy my daughter a swing now because she had a blast.

BEST EVER

The house was our third try at renting a house in Chico and hands down, it was the best. All beds were comfortable, ample blankets and towels. We had our 4 year grandson with us and he loved the backyard with swings and lots of toys to explore with. Neighborhood was quiet and is a restful place to stay. Owner was exceptional at communicating. We hope to stay here again when we make it back to Chico.

Peaceful Neighborhood near Bidwell Park

Each day we would explore a new area of Bidwell Park and Chico and enjoyed the home when we returned to set up our laptops and list the birds we had seen for the day. The large table in open-concept kitchen was perfect to sit around and the sofas and recliner were nice for enjoying our morning coffee and reading before we made breakfast in the spacious and well accommodated kitchen. Spacious home with nice backyard. Quiet and friendly neighborhood.

Wonderful

House was exactly as it was described. We had 12 people stay and there was plenty of room. It had all we needed for the bbq celebration for my grandson who graduated from lineman school. I would definitely stay there again if I'm ever in Chico.
