Privacy and the sounds of nature surround this 4 bedroom/3.5 bath home elevated above the North Shore of St. Croix.

The Cane Bay Perch house has A LOT of space, high quality furnishings, and a two million dollar view. The wrap-around deck connects to a sparkling pool area ... and you can still hear the waves from Cane Bay Beach while relaxing on the decks.

This house and location are the perfect place to return to after a day of exploring the island... relaxation and quiet will recharge you for another day of discovering the wonderful island of St Croix.

The home offers large, bright bedrooms, a formal living room with new couches, a formal dining room, casual dining next to the kitchen, and a separate TV room with new sofa-bed. Enjoy easy access to the outdoors from the master bedroom, living room, and TV Room to take in the magnificent view. If you book a party of 8 or more (up to 11)… you will be given access to an additional large bedroom space one level down from the main house ( King Bed plus a futon or cot, living room, 3/4 bath).

Cane Bay beach is 1/4 mile down the maintained HOA road ... you’ll find a great beach for sitting/swimming/snorkeling, a scuba dive shop, and multiple dining options such as The Landing, Off The Wall, and AMA.

The gate, exterior parking area, and lower stairs to the water pump/water heater room have motion activated security cameras for your safety.

Our host was welcoming and available. The house is as pictured. The property is clean and beautiful. All amenities from kitchen to pool are fulfilling. Cane Bay is lovely and the sea is gorgeous. The advice of AWD or 4-wheel to reach the house is sound. Amazing overall. This place is a gift to be shared.

This villa exceeded all expectations. The view was absolutely mesmerizing and the perfect backdrop for a truly rejuvenating vacation. The villa had everything we needed and our stay was very comfortable. Driving up the hill to get to the villa was a little intimidating because I didn’t get there until night lol but after that it was no problem. Try to get to the house before the sun goes down if possible. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Great spot for a large group!

Everything was wonderful, especially the view from the deck and the pool! If you stay here, definitely ensure that you have a 4 wheel drive vehicle or else you will not make it up the hill to the house! The views are worth the drive :)

Amazing Cane Bay views

We had a wonderful time watching the sunrise each morning from the front deck. The interior was large and well maintained with a good kitchen. The pool was a welcome addition to cool off in the afternoon.

Absolutely amazing!

We have been to St. Croix many times over the years, Andrew’s house is the nicest we’ve stayed at and we plan to come back! It was very clean, beautiful views and communication with Andrew was great. Perfect location, we have stayed all over the island and this truly is the best spot!

Spacious home and stunning views!

We loved the entire island, but Cane Bay was our favorite spot! The home was convenient to both Christiansted and Fredericksted and was the perfect place for our family five. We would absolutely stay here again. The owner Andrew was very kind, helpful, and responsive before and during our trip.

Hillside with a view

The driveway to the property is a little harrowing but doable. Very worth it just for the views from the porch or pool deck. The property was very clean and comfortable with space for a large group. The location is close to the beach and several restaurants. Communication with the host was clear and very fast response time.

Great home base

We had a great time exploring the island out of this location as our home base. Our host was very responsive and helpful with the questions we had. Beautiful, relaxing view from the house, and close to the beach. Would definitely come back to this house if we came back again!

Great place close to Cane bay

Wonderful home. Very clean. Responsive host. A couple small repairs needed to deck but nothing that kept us from safely using the deck and pool. It is a Beach house on an island and those are to be expected. Our group ranged age 6-80. Everyone loved the home and said it’s one we would come back to. Furniture and chairs seem nearly new. Clean linens and plenty of them. Views are spectacular.

Andrew’s place is absolutely perfect! The entire experience was great, from booking the house to meeting Andrew at the airport, to our everyday adventures. The house is in a great location, well stocked, and super inviting. We felt completely at home. I highly recommend this house for your stay. We will definitely be back!

Our Stay at the Cane Bay Perch

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at the home. The view is clearly stunning and one of the best assets of the property. The other was Andrew, one of the owners who was not just an excellent and available host but truly cared that you had the best experience possible (he even told us when one of the local restaurants had just gotten in fresh lobster :) ). I’ve stayed at many rental homes and he was one of the best hosts I’ve experienced. The house itself was neat and had plenty of amenities for enjoying the pool and the beach. I would highly recommend the Cane Bay Perch.

Beautiful spacious house

This was our third trip to St. Croix and have stayed in different places each trip. This home was the most spacious with the best view and had everything we needed from a fully-stocked kitchen to beach chairs, beach towels, etc. The beds were very comfortable and the house had great working a/c and plenty of ceiling fans to keep it cool. The owner was very quick to respond to our texts. Thank you for a great stay!!

Multi generational getaway

Fantastic house, very spacious, great views, well stocked, easy responsive communication with the owner. Plenty of room for the 7 of us. Convenient to the beach at Cane Bay for snorkeling/diving, relaxing in the shade, the breakfast truck and a couple of really Good restaurants, The Landing and AMA (make reservations). You can even hear the music at The Landing (highly recommend Dining here) from the deck at the house. We travel all over the island For food and beaches. Would recommend 10/10.

Sunshining views ahead !!

Great property. Not the first time I've stayed here. Always fun and family friendly. Plenty of room, kitchen has what you need. Breezes to cool you down at night and a fun pool area. Away from the crowds but a few seconds and you can be in the mix if you wish. Highly recommend this place for couples, families, or group getaways. Cant wait to get back to the island and will be staying here again. Cheers!

Great Stay!

Our family of two adults and two teenage daughters absolutely loved our time at the quiet hillside villa. The home was spacious, clean and comfortable for our time there. The view was amazing and we watched many beautiful sunsets from the pool. The host provided many unexpected extras that made the stay even more special. It felt like home while we were there. The location was great with dining options and a beautiful beach just minutes away and easy access to both Fredericksted and Christiensted. We equally spent time between the three locations and nothing felt out of the way. If we can make it back to St. Croix, we would definitely stay there again.

The pictures don’t show how great the property is. Much larger then expected. Views for days!! As a person that has frequented the island for the past 15 yrs there are few if any better ways to enjoy the north shore then this property. I will return for sure!!!

Estate La Vallee- Absolute Paradise

Estate La Vallee was perfect for us. Easy access to Cane Bay's awesome beach, with some of the best views of the sunset on the island. Close to either Frederiksted or Christiansted for food and shopping, but far enough away from the crowds to really relax. Andrew had awesome communication with us from start to finish. We were greeted by our concierge, Annabel, who was very helpful in getting us to the house and gave us great tips for our stay. Here recommendation for dinner at Savant was perfect. Also try AMA on Cane Bay, you will not have a better meal on the water. The house is huge with plenty of room for the entire family, and the best stocked of any VRBO we have ever stayed in. The pool was clean and refreshing after a full day on the ocean and the deck overlooking the bay was the best place to start the day. Skip the crowded beach resorts and have your very own private resort at Estate La Vallee.

Hidden Paradise at the North Shore…

Multi family week vacation in this fantastic villa hidden in the mountains of the North Shore. Excellent home base for two families (6 total) as we explored the island, snorkeling at Buck Island, running ATV’s through the hillside, zip lining through mountains, kayaking through the bioluminescent bay, or simply sitting by the shore listening to the waves roll in. House is very well appointed, clean, cold AC for those tired evenings, and the pool is a big bonus. We wanted for nothing and needed nothing. Owners are super responsive and helpful. It’s a little tricky getting up the mountain but 1,000% worth it. Patience, take it slow, and you’ll be just fine. The minute you drive through the gates, step on the deck for the first time…it will take your breath away. Just down the hill (5 min) are 4 local welcoming bar/restaurants with a range of options — all steps from the beach and snorkeling. Hit the Sunnyside food truck on Tuesday and Thursday till noon — yum! Don’t think about it. Book it today. If you don’t, we might just take that week too!

Wonderful first visit to a lovely island!

The house was exactly as described. Plenty of room and well stocked and well furnished. It is a beautiful house. Everything worked and we had a great time. We particularly enjoyed sitting in the rocking chairs on the porch in the morning having coffee and enjoying the expansive views of Cane Bay, and watching the birds fly in the forest below. The pool was lovely and cool in the afternoon. We tried all of the restaurants and bars at Cane Bay and found each one was a treasure in a different way. Follow Andrew's recommendations! We were easily able to cook a few meals and eat in the lovely dining room. We will be back. Note some of the roads on the island and the driveway will be more comfortable with a strong motor. We thank Andrew for the rum and punch ready upon our arrival. It started our vacation just right after a long day traveling.

This private retreat was the perfect location for our vacation!

The views from the house are stunning, with great privacy near one of the best, if not the best beach and area on the island! We typically vacation on Coral Bay in St. Johns and we were looking for a similar local, away from the more touristy areas and Cane Bay for us, was the perfect location. The house is very private with little to no car traffic and only 1 home next door, but it is totally shielded by beautiful foliage and we never heard any noise or disturbances other than some laughs in their pool 1 day. The house and kitchen are well stocked with everything we needed. We were especially thankful for all the paper products, sunscreen, beach chairs, bug spray, cooking utensils, spices and pantry needs, that we didn't have to buy, as we cooked in many nights to enjoy the views.The other best asset of the house is the pool, which was clean and very warm, for getting refreshed after a day at the beaches or scuba diving at the pier. Our one suggestion would be a renovation and some TLC on the deck, which Andrew mentioned was scheduled for sometime in the future.We have also rented many homes on VRBO and Andrew was by far the best host we've ever had. His timely responses, thorough details and insights into the island, helped make our first visit to St. Croix a very special vacation... I can't thank you enough Andrew! Perfect St. Croix getaway

We had a wonderful week in St. Croix in this home. The house was very clean. All of the details were perfect, down to the lovely table/umbrella by the pool, the towels folded perfectly in the baths, the kitchen fully stocked (all utensils, pots, pans, everything clean and in perfect order) for cooking. Linens very clean. Lots of room for seating and enjoying family: a living room, a separate tv room, a dining room, a kitchen with a separate breakfast eating area, a gas grill, the garage and parking area… all of it clean and so nicely appointed. We didn’t need the AC units at all, there was so much wonderful breeze at night. Hillside villa was so charming with complete privacy. But so close to Cane Bay’s wonderful beach, five restaurants, and even a charming breakfast food truck! Perfect central location. The views from the enormous deck were absolutely breathtaking. Having our coffee out there in the morning, or a drink at sunset, was fabulous. Thank you for this wonderful stay!

I’m a former full time St Croix resident now living/working in Colorado.
My co-owner (Kevin) and I were classmates in middle school and high school... he is certified dive instructor, and our families both wanted to have our own house to retire to in the Caribbean and it was not hard to convince them that St Croix was the right place.

Cane Bay is where I was a scuba divemaster in the mid 90s... and it has always been the magnet that draws me back. I recall seeing this house up in the hills in my 20s and I was fortunate to be able to buy it in my 50s. The green hills and sound of nature, without the heavy salt spray and road traffic of being right on the shoreline, are why I believe it is the ideal place to stay when you visit St Croix.
