We had a wonderful two week vacation. The pool was delightful and we enjoyed it every day. A quick 20 minute walk to the beach and there were lots of restaurants around. Easily accommodated seven adults would go back.

The house layout with rooms and bathrooms spread out on multiple floors was great for multi-generational vacation! We enjoyed the location close to the beach but still tucked away and private.

We had a great stay with our extended family! Our group included 6 adults and 4 kids (ages 7, 4, 1, and 1), and the house was perfect for everyone. The pool was a huge hit for both morning and afternoon swims, and the lake was less than a 5-minute drive away. There were also several great restaurants within an easy half-mile walk.The property was very clean and had plenty of space, with multiple areas for everyone to hang out, relax, and catch up. It was a great setup for a family trip, and we would highly recommend it!

This property and the owners are exceptional in a manner that exceeded all of our expectations. This was our 7th year for summer family vacation in New Buffalo/Union Pier, and this was likely our best trip yet.The home is welcoming, warm, fully furnished and appointed, quirky, and perfect. There was plenty of room for the 6 adults and two grandchildren (5 and 3 mo.). The backyard and pool are like a private parkland. The screened in porch is perfect for quiet time, and the kitchen for us foodies is well appointed and produced several wonderful meals around the large table.The location is great for daily walks and just a few blocks from downtown featuring all the shops, marina, beach, and restaurants, etc. There is a park across the neighborhood street with a playground, walking paths, etc.I am very happy to rate Blue Heron a six-star review in a 5-star world.

Our multigenerational group had a great time — great location, amazing yard/pool, great rooms with space for all 9 of us. The house was well stocked with bath and kitchen necessities. So fun!

Great place to stay in New Buffalo!

We had a great time staying the week at Ryan's place. The yard/pool was a highlight for the kids & (and the dogs). And Ryan was incredibly responsive. Would absolutely stay here again the next time we're headed to the Michigan coast.

The house is in a fantastic location—close to everything we needed. We really appreciated that pets were welcome, which made our trip even more enjoyable. We loved everything about this home and the owners. they went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of . I have been renting vacation homes for a while and they were by far the most attentive and accommodating. definitely will be returning !

Loved everything about our sta over the thanksgiving holiday . House is clean, comfortable and in a great location. Beds are comfortable and it is in a quiet neighborhood. We had a bit of cooking to do and appreciated the well stocked kitchen. Thank you!!
