Perfect mountain experience

Great cabin for a family ski trip. Right on the trail with easy access. Property is clean, well stocked and maintained. Would definitely come back and stay here.

All Around Wonderful

Easy all around! Easy to and from the airport, ski rental facilities, and of course the slopes! Loved the ski in/out convenience. The house made it comfortable for my family of 6 to stay for three days. The host was wonderful, respectful, and responsive too. Highly recommend this property!

Great place to stay for ski trip

We had a great experience staying here for a late March ski trip. It is very centrally located on the mountain, and the hot tub is a great perk! Would stay here again.

Ski-on Ski-off - AMAZING

This place was AS Advertised. Can easily fit 2-3 families. Fantastic location. Ski right off the driveway onto Great Eastern down to the Skyship gondola. The house is clean, linens were provided and were nice. Hot tub outside has a beautiful view of mountains. The fire place inside was idyllic and there was plenty of firewood and starter logs. The place is the perfect New England ski spot. In the summer there is a nice fire pit and sitting area with a swing in the back. The owner/manager provided detailed communication and was VERY easy to get a hold of. We would definitely stay again

Awesome time skiing and staying at this property. Management was easy to deal with. Got snowed in but the plow guy got us out. Would rent this house again for sure.

We have been staying at this property on and off with our ski group for over 10 years. It's our favorite house. Perfect location on the mountain. Hope to be back next year.

True ski-in/out property!

We loved our stay! It is truly a ski in/out property for those that can handle green runs, which made it very convenient for the many different levels we had in our group. We appreciated the thoughtfulness of having wood stacked on the deck so we didn’t have to go far outside during the below zero temps of our trip! Had all the amenities of home, and our kids loved having their own space. We look forward to staying again!

Wonderful location and AMAZING host!

We had a fantastic time at this ski-in ski-out location, and Mario was very accommodating - couldn't have asked for a better host. Everything was clean and the hot tub was serviced on the day we arrived so we knew it was clean. Would absolutely stay again (just maybe a bit earlier in the season) - what a pleasure! Mario is the best!

Location, location, LOCATION!

This house was great ! The trail side access next the house is amazing. Our family enjoyed the ability to come and go from the house all day. Who needs a ski lodge when you have a house sitting on a trail. We loved and highly recommend it!

Just What We Wanted

This property is exactly what we wanted: A ski-in/out chalet with amenities off a big easy trail (Great Eastern). Everything was clean and worked great. The hot-tub was perfect after a long day of skiing, and the master bed was so comfortable. Mario, our host, was very easy to communicate with. Great time, would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a no-hassle getaway on a beautiful Vermont mountainside. Thanks!

Christmas vacation

We had a great time despite the unseasonably warm and rainy weather. The house is in a great location and was well stocked with all the things listed on the webpage. The hot tub was great and very clean. It was nice having the sheets and towels supplied. On our last day it got much colder and we ended up getting a couple inches of snow and roads turned icy. The owner was so kind to contact his plow guy to come right over to clear and salt the driveway and road. We were very thankful since our van was slipping on the road. We look forward to coming back!

Outstanding Ski In / Out Location-Nice House!

The house has ample sleeping room which includes 4 bedrooms, including a bunk-room for the kids. There is an upstairs loft that allows for additional sleeping space. Overall it could use a little updating in the bathrooms and some new couches, but it was decently appointed and the kitchen is fairly new. The location itself is top notch as you can ski / board right out of the backyard onto the Great Eastern Trail. There is still 1/4 of the trail left to get to the bottom, so its a nice warmup before you get to the gondola which takes you to all the other lifts to gain access to other parts of the mountain. I would rent this space again.

Amazing Ski in ski out rental!

I rented this house for a group of friends for a long weekend. The group was raving about the house the entire trip. The house has plenty of bedrooms for privacy and a great living room for hanging out. The fireplace was large and there was plenty of dry firewood right on the deck! Another highlight was the hot tub which is essential after a long day of skiing. However the real highlight of this house is the location. You are a few steps away from the main trail on Killington. I am not sure I can ever go back to staying at a place that is not ski in ski out. Mario was very easy to work with. I would highly recommend this house!

Love this house -- beautiful and perfect!

This slopeside house is not only as convenient as one could possibly wish for, right on Great Eastern, but is warm and beautiful and perfect. This is our second stay and really the only house that I've found with both a fireplace and hot tub that is ski in and out. After getting groceries the first night, we didn't leave the property in our car for the entire weekend. The kitchen is warm with the fireplace right there and all of the wood and firestarters are included. The college kids all had a great time and enjoyed their weekend away from the city. I highly recommend this house. Thank you so much!

Outstanding Vermont Rental in Killington. This place has it all...!

We just completed a 4 day rental of this property in Killington and by all measures it was an outstanding experience. The location was excellent - privacy but with mountain trail access. A few minutes from all the action, restaurants and nightlife on Killington Rd. The home is beautiful and very well maintained with 4 great bedrooms with very comfortable beds, TV's in every room, sleeping 12+...and a loft adding futon room for the unexpected visitor...not to mention a shuffleboard. Yes, we had our first annual shuffleboard tournament. The large stone fireplace was the centerpiece of the living room and has an unlimited supply of firewood located on the deck right off of the living room. The dining room table sat 10-12 easily. The décor, kitchen appliances and all the utensils were top shelf. Clearly there was a lot of new or recently added things here. The mud room was heated and led to the outdoor Jacuzzi which we used quite a bit. Someone came every day to make sure the Jacuzzi was great, there were folks who came to plow driveway and shovel the deck whenever needed. There were many classy touches - like the basket of jumbo towels in the mud room rolled up and ready for the Jacuzzi. The outside Christmas decorations were up and added to a festive atmosphere over the Thanksgiving weekend and there was a lighted tree inside on the balcony off of the loft. By the way - everything needed to cook a large Turkey dinner was there including a jumbo pan...all top shelf and apparently new. The owners really know how to do it right. It is a wonderful place to stay, comfortable and elegant. There is even a large Weber grill on the deck if you want to fire that up. We look forward to coming back and would highly recommend this home as a rental destination for your friends and family. No one wanted to leave ! We were there to watch the Women's World Cup races and on top of it all, former Burke Academy racer and NH's own Mikaela Shifflin delighted the crowds by winning the World Cup Slalom event..! All GOOD..!

Recently some of these improvements include over $20 million in capital improvements with a new Snowdon Six Express Bubble Chairlift and the re-installation of lift service in the South Ridge Area!! Additional improvements include New Cabins on the K1 Gondola ... plus RFID ticketing ... tunnels and trail re-routes on Snowdon and Bear Mountain/Skye Peak ... and the move of the Snowdon Poma to Ramshead. Killington has always been the biggest and best ski and snowboard mountain in the East and now it's even better. In addition to the major lift projects, more than a million dollars in snowmaking enhancements have been added, along with four new groomers, which will make the resort easier to access as they continue to provide the highest-quality snow surfaces in the East. The Beast of the East is better than ever for the upcoming season.
