This cozy and comfortable home with fenced yard is nestled in Floral City near the Tsala Apopka Chain of Lakes - great for fishing, boating, air boating and the Withlacoochee State Trail bike trail. Beautiful winding back roads on the Tail of the Gobbler Riders Loop known for scenic motorcycle rides and just 3 miles from the Withlacoochee State Trail, a 46-mile biking and hiking trail, mostly flat, rails-to-trail system traversing rivers and forests.

Just a 10 minute drive into the City of Inverness, Inverness Speedway, Inverness Airport and Citrus County Fairgrounds. In Inverness you will find restaurants, bars, shopping, antique stores and lots of downtown events such as car shows, art and craft shows, concerts and a bi-weekly Saturday farmers market.

20 miles to historical, downtown Brookesville, FL.
A short drive to Crystal River and the Florida Gulf.
Just an hour and a half (70 miles) to Disney World Orlando, an hour and 45 minutes (88 miles) to Clearwater Beach.

This place was so nice to stay at.

The house was perfect. The location was nice with lots of restaurants to choose from. It was close to a beautiful park in Inverness and trails to walk on in Floral City. This place made it so easy to travel with our Frenchie. The lights outside at night were a great touch too. We will definitely stay here again when in Central Florida.

Great stay in a comfortable home

House was very clean and very comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals. Fenced yard was secure, perfect for hanging out with our dog. Excellent hosts, responded immediately to questions. Will definitely stay again.

Wonderful visit to Inverness

My husband, myself and our little old lady dog, had a wonderful Christmas stay in Inverness visiting family.From checking in, staying and checking out, it was seamless. The house was so inviting,clean and well set up for guests…..and the decor (Christmas) was unexpected, and so festive.This is a great cottage in beautiful Floral City, and we will be back.Highly recommended for small families or a couple, and very pet friendly.

Michiganders

Wanted to see another location in Florida due to the hurricane destruction south where we normally go. Had a great time in Inverness and surrounding areas. The Inverness Moose is nice. This house was comfortable/clean and we enjoyed staying for a week. The owners were very informative/helpful. Had our dog with us and the fenced in yard was convenient. Fresh flowers and chocolates welcomed us. Great place to stay away from the traffic.

Quiet Clean Quaint

Hosts were able to accommodate us short notice and even were able to provide a couple extra days due to a mishap with our original rental! Laurie was the best very kind willing to accommodate!

Adorable home with a fenced yard for the dogs. Quiet neighborhood. Lovely hosts. If you are looking for something in Floral City I would totally recommend this home. And Ps… Go to Pudgee’s for the best eats in town.

Cozy and spotlessly clean!

This cute little place has everything you need. It was spotlessly clean when we arrived, and everything in the house worked flawlessly during our stay. The fenced-in back yard was very convenient for our pups. The neighborhood is very quiet. Mark & Laurie were very responsive and provided lots of suggestions for places to eat and things to do. We enjoyed the screen porch and the picnic table for afternoon chats while we relaxed in the cool shade of the old trees in the neighborhood. I would definitely stay here again.

Comfortable getaway

We needed a stay to attend our daughter's celebration of life. Needless tonsay we were stressed. The hosts were so kind and went out of their way to make it all easy. It was perfect. Now here is the best part. We are fanaticsl pet owners. Very protective. We found a lot of pet friendly places. None that had a securely and completely fenced yard. This one had that and then some. It was perfect! I searched thru dozens of listings to find this one and it was perfect! Anyone staying here will be lucky.

I’d leave 20 stars if I could!

We rented this property for a few weeks when we got flooded out of our home following Hurricanes Helene and Milton. The hosts were incredibly kind, informative and flexible, which made a stressful situation easier. The house is cozy, well-appointed and immaculately clean. Everything you need for a comfortable stay is there. We were traveling with our two dogs, and the outside setup was ideal with a securely fenced yard. We live in the same county, so we’re familiar with the Withlapopka Isles neighborhood where the property is located. It is dotted with lakes and canals that offer lots of fishing and boating opportunities. There’s a fun pub within walking distance that has live music some afternoons and food truck service. I can’t emphasize enough how kind the hosts are! They respond quickly to any questions, have helpful suggestions and genuinely care about guest needs. We would stay there again, and I will recommend the hosts to my family and friends, which is the highest compliment I can give. Bravo!
