Mountain retreat. West end unit of Mountainside at Silvercreek. Amazing views of Rocky Mountain National Park. Winter: Ski out to Ski Granby Ranch. Come in for hot lunch and a break. Summer: bike down the hill for mountain biking and explore the trails of Grand County. Wedding or other family celebration headquarters. Dining table seats 8. Owner works with other condo owners in the complex so extended family are all close. Hot tub in Master Bedroom. Rates are as listed. This is our mountain home.

If you look at similar properties, they are ALL expensive free standing homes. Rainbow Connection II is cozy comfortable, affordable. Sit on the deck and watch the kids in the pool. Drive up and over Trail Ridge road for a summertime snowball fight. Horseback riding is close. Come stay and attend a friend's wedding. Invite family for a reunion. Watch the hummingbirds, and wild life. Headout after dark and view the Milky Way.

About Cheryn M-C

Dennis and Cheryn met 37 years ago 'ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE MOUNTAIN' at Hidden Valley Ski Area- the only ski area EVER! in a National Park. Dennis grew up on a dairy farm in Pennsylvania. Cheryn grew up on the high desert of eastern New Mexico. We fell in love with the Colorado mountains, and each other and have been here since then. Here we are 2016 at Winter Park volunteering with the National Sports Center for Disabled- NSCD

Why Cheryn M-C chose Granby

Rainbow Connection II is our second piece of mountain property. Right after we were married we built a passive solar home in Summit County. Economy forced us to move and sell the property. When the kids were in Middle School we found Mountainside 114. We purchased it to have a place to get out of town and let the kids bring their friends.

What makes this condo unique

The unique benefits everyone seems to tell us about our condo are: Close to Denver metro area. Easy to fly into DIA, rent a car and get out of the heat. Cool mornings, miday rain to cool everything off. Sunny afternoons,clear nights. The convenience of ski-out/ ski-in Great ski area to learn to ski. Great family area both for skiing/boarding in the winter and mountain biking in the summer. The view, the birds, the wildlife (we had a fox in the walkway December 2015) The fields of columbines in the clearings in the summer. The stars at night All the amenities we leave in the unit. The spa in the Master bedroom has been receiving lots of positive comments.

Rocky Mountain high!

Our family stay Mountainside exceeded our expectations in every way! Ski in/ski out slope side at Granby Ranch, warm and welcoming fireside and hot tub evenings, comfort and conveniently close to City Market and Granby... this felt like home away from home for my wife and our little ones! We absolutely loved it, and very much look forward to returning.

Owner's Response: Thanks for the kind words. You are welcome any time. Our unit is a popular place for wedding guests and members of a wedding party. It is close to the lift, lodge, and wedding events, but an amazing place to go to for a break or to freshen up between events. Children who come to the wedding like the heated outdoor pool and the en suite hot tub.

Place was clean overall and our favorite part was the private hot tub! Kitchen had necessary items for cooking meals. Plenty of towels and linens for swimming, hot tub and showering. Unit could use some updating, couch was uncomfortable and bed sheets were rather old and thin and could be updated. Owners are very nice and location of overall unit was convenient as we went to YMCA of the Rockies for horseback riding and snow tubing in the summer. My kids enjoyed eating breakfast and dinner at the eat up bar with bar stools. Unit had good airflow for summer time stay and was close to condo pool.

Owner's Response: Thank you so much for your kind words. We purchased the condo when our children were on middle school for all the reasons you had listed. They are now young adults, so we have started inviting guests to use our retreat when we aren't there. Could not agree with you more. We have updated counters, window coverings, lighting. We are putting in a more efficient gas fireplace next week. But the sofa bed is uncomfortable. That is next on our list. We have not had many guests use the sofa bed, so it has not been a priority. We also had a run of back to back rentals, and our bed linen inventory is not as robust as it needs to be. We are starting to phase out the old beige ones. Plan on coming back and see our updates next year!

Great ski in ski out condo!

This condo was perfect for our needs. It was clean, comfortable, and so easy to access the slopes! We came in for lunch every day and easy to get right back out to skiing. The hot tub was nice to soak in in the evenings. Definitely would recommend this condo!!

Owner's Response: Dave, You said it all. We purchased this condo when our children were younger for the express reason it was a ski in & ski out. Homemade hot lunch and clean bathrooms were also figured in. Because we use the condo almost weekly we try to keep a bit of everything there. I use spices, kitchen gadgets, condiments, sugar, oil, cleaning supplies and food for our bird visitors. It saves on trips to City Market down by the highway. Cheryn
