SPACIOUS and updated condo at The Mountainside at Granby Ranch, Colorado. Priced to make your vacation fun AND affordable. Enjoy glorious summer sunsets whether your day has been full of activity or slow and relaxing. Avoid the large crowds and expensive resorts at this great family-friendly location in wide-open Grand County.

Mountainside #67 overlooks both Granby Bike and Granby Golf Course. Our nearly 1,200 sq foot condo sleeps up to 8 with plenty of room for the whole family. The Master bedroom with private bath has a Queen bed, the loft bedroom has 2 extra-long full beds and also a full private bathroom. There is a bathroom off the living area and a queen pull-out sofa. A full-size private hot tub is accessible from the living area and the Master bedroom. There is a flat screen TV and DVR player in the living room and each bedroom with direct TV provided. Free wireless internet access is provided*.

A full size washer and dryer have been added in the loft bathroom and the kitchen is stocked with pots, pans and dishware and glasses. And of course all linens are provided. The expansive sectional sofa in the living area provides plenty of seating space for everyone to relax and visit.

Play golf or tennis, ride mountain bikes, hike, and swim right out the door. Nearby activities include rafting, boating, horseback riding, fishing, rodeo, music festivals, live theater and so much more. Granby Ranch is conveniently located in the heart of wide-open Grand County. Rocky Mountain National Park (viewable from the deck) and Grand Lake are 15 minutes away as is Winter Park. Soak in Hot Sulphur Springs only 20 minutes away.

Fall is a wonderful time to be at The Mountainside with changing trees and perfect weather. Come back in the winter for ski in/ski out access** to Granby Ranch slopes and a full array of winter activities.


* Basic internet service is provided for free. This is generally sufficient access for checking email and common web sites. Guests needing wide bandwidths or increased speed for streaming video or games, will need to take advantage of the upgraded services provided for a fee. Details are available upon log-in from the condo.

**The Mountainside is considered a "ski in/ski out" property. However you should be aware no individual condo can be skied directly to or from. Access to all condos requires at least one set of stairs, and access to all lifts requires some walking.

About Kathy

We live in Texas but love our Colorado get-away. Our daughters grew up enjoying The Mountainside, skiing SolVista/Granby Ranch, hiking in Rocky Mountain National Park, playing golf at the area courses, rafting the Colorado River, boating on Grand lake and enjoying all of the other activites that Grand County has to offer in both summer and winter.

We love the wide-open space of Grand County and Granby, the proximity to Rocky Mountain National Park, the year-round activities, overlooking Headwaters Golf Course, and the ski in/out access to SolVista/Ski Granby Ranch which is a great ski area for young families and new skiiers.

The Mountainside loft condos are large, open and spacious. Don't settle for a cramped condo or modest hotel room. Your family has plenty of room to spread out here. Enjoy the great views and scenery. The summer sunsets are glorious. The winter brings a quiet blanket of snow. Year-round, enjoy relaxing in the hot tub at the end of the day.

Perfect for our reunion getaway

Mountainside 67 was perfect for our group’s long weekend reunion getaway. The condo felt like home and was the perfect size for our needs (6 good friends). We enjoyed cooking meals in the unit and on the grills outside, swimming in the pool, soaking in the hot tub, and grateful for the washer and dryer in the unit. The unit has amazing views and we enjoyed starting and ending our days taking them in from the comfortable sectional. The condo is close to many activities both by foot and car. We drove the short drive (~20min) to Rocky Mountain National Park, Adams Falls, Grand Lake, and Winter Park. We also hiked the ski slope that the unit is on and explored the activities at the base camp. The owner Kathy ensured our needs were met and communicated effectively before and during our stay. Our group would love to return to #67!

Great experience! We loved the space and the location! Only complaint was that the water in the hot tub smelled a little stale— like it needed some extra chemicals. Not enough the impact anything at all! Be mindful that if you travel in July, the space can get a little warm in the afternoon/evening. The early morning mountain air cooled it off, though. There were some extra fans in the closet, but we just used the ceiling fans.

Condo as advertised

We found the condo to be a great floor plan and extremely well stocked with all the amenities of home. It was clean and comfortable and the hot tub was just what we needed after our 13 mile and 10 mile hikes.The location was in the beautiful and quiet community of Granby which is approximately 40 mins from western entrance to the Rockies. Unfortunately most of the hiking we wanted to do was near Estes park and south which required passing Trail Ridge Road twice daily. This required close to a two hour and very frightening drive each way. I would highly recommend this condo for anyone who wanted to do some hiking in the western Rockies or boat or fish in Granby or Grand Lake. As mentioned previously, it was a very spacious floor plan that could sleep 8 comfortably. Kathy was extremely attentive and very accessible when we had an issue with the keys. Highly recommend!!

Owner's Response: Yes, we are about 20 -30 minutes from the Western entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park near Grand Lake. We try to be clear in our listing where we are located and think we are. Certainly if your interests are in activities on the Estes Park side we are not your best lodging option by any means. We love Grand County and the western side of the park though! We think we get to see more elk and moose, have the headwaters of the Colorado River on this side, 3 large lakes, 4 great golf courses and a whole lot less traffic. So come visit!

Refundable damage deposit $250
Condo & HotTub Clean Fee $125 + Tax

Holiday periods have minimum stay requirements over the standard minimum night. Memorial Day, July 4, Labor Day and Thanksgiving have a 3 night minimum rather than 2 nights.
No refund on reservations canceled less than 60 days in advance of arrival date. Cancelations received between booking and 60 days prior to arrival date receive a refund less the greater of 5% of rental fee amount, or $50.
Monthly stays, when available, require $1,000 security deposit.
Our cleaning fee includes Hot Tub Cleaning and therefore may be higher than units without this amenity.

Owner's Cancellation Policy

  • 100% refund if canceled at least 60 days before arrival date.
  • Service Fee fully refunded on cancellations that qualify for 100% refund.
