Welcome to the Gilded Monkey House!

As you walk into the double glass entry doors, you are ushered into the living area with an open floor plan and walls of glass from which you will marvel at the view. The very efficient kitchen has been updated with stainless appliances and nice cabinetry. The kitchen, dining, living and family rooms are all open to each other - providing enough space for your entire group to relax, spread out and enjoy.

Polished concrete floors throughout the house accompany you from the main living area to the 4 guest bedrooms. As you walk into the hallway, you’ll first find three guest bedrooms, all furnished with Queen beds, quality linen, and TVs to watch your favorite shows before you go to bed. These bedrooms all share one large guest bathroom that offers a shower/tub combo. The primary bedroom offers a King size bed and ensuite bath with walk in shower, as well as sliding glass doors that provide private access to the back yard.

This fabulous, comfortable and recently updated Vacation Home Rental is all that one can ask for. Fully stocked and furnished with everything you could need as well as being just a short drive from restaurants, shops, boutiques, galleries, the casino, and all the fun of the world famous Palm Canyon Drive! Grocery stores, casual restaurants, coffee places and other neighborhood conveniences are all very close.

POOL HEATER FEE - pool heating fee for $95 day. (Optional) 24-48 hours lead time needed to heat the pool. Note: No Hot tub
PARKING - 1 garage spot available, 2 car driveway, as well as off street parking

PHOTOSHOOTS AND FILMING - please inquire separately for all photoshoots and filming prior to booking.

We loved the house and beautiful back yard with a pool! The decor was colorful and fun with mid-century modern touches.We were four women in town for Modernism Week so we each had our own bedroom. The location was great and close to a grocery store. There were plenty of thoughtful amenities. There was one little toilet issue on the first day, but they took care of it immediately. We would definitely come back.

Palm Springs Delight

We loved our stay at this beautiful and stylish property. It was immaculately clean with a very well equipped kitchen. The pool area was amazing and such a great space to spend family time together. Tim was a great host - responsive and very communicative. Should we be lucky enough to visit Palm Springs again, we would definitely return.

Palm Springs! one of my favorite places to visit! this home came fully stocked with anything you may need while away on vacation, very close and within walking distance to the grocery store if you want to do your own cooking while away...we even walked around the quiet neighborhood and dreamed on living there:)

The perfect private getaway

I was looking for a place that I could host a few friends from back East to relax and just lay by the pool and not worry about being in a crowded hotel and the Gilded Monkey was perfect! Not only was the house amazing, the area was convenient to a market and even the airport for pick up/drop off. We definitely had a relaxing time and enjoyed our stay. A must if you're looking for a quiet getaway!

This house was a special place to celebrate my birthday week with my dear, long time friends. We enjoyed conversations in the living room and eating lunch poolside. This home was a great place to stay for a family trip. The home was stocked with everything needed from kitchen gadgets to board games and of course the pool. The location close to all attractions and shopping. Communication with the host was easy and the host was very responsive.

Girls Weekend Paradise!

An amazing house located so perfectly to get around and explore the area. The host was wonderful and a great communicator. I also appreciate a house that is well stocked, particularly the kitchen, so we can cook meals at home. Would definitely book again next time I'm in Palm Springs!

Fun weekend getaway

We had a perfect weekend getaway with friends. The host, Robin, welcomed us upon arrival and showed us everything. The house was clean and the pool was great. No issues. I would definitely recommend.

Great house, lovely pool

This house is great. Nicely decorated but comfortable enough for a family. The pool was lovely and heated for us per our request and worth it for spring break. Lots of pool noodles for the pool and nice towels! Very convenient location. I would suggest a rental car to get around there is so much to see. Thank you!

Guilded Monkey get-away

Our visit was wonderful. The house was beautiful, fun, comfortable and provided all the necessities of a vacation home. The pool was clean and warm with many seating options for a group with palm trees for shade. We loved the outdoor eating area. The location was great. A quick Uber ride to downtown or to the airport. A great house for a group of friends or relatives (we were a group of sisters and cousins). Hope to see you again!

Total Palm Springs Aesthetic

This house nailed it! The house looks modest from the street but you walk through the door and it's a designer's paradise! Pitch perfect Palm Springs decor, great backyard space, plenty of bedrooms (each with a unique character), quiet street and a 5 minute drive from shops and restaurants. The owner is super communicative, friendly and accommodating! I would stay here again and highly recommend.

The property did not disappoint. The pictures are very accurate and the property in person is even more beautiful. You can tell that the owner(s) take care of and are proud of the property. The location is perfect. Quiet neighborhood but close enough to the restaurants and shopping in downtown Palm Springs. We stayed for 4 nights and cannot wait to come back for more pool and relaxation.

A Perfect Spot

We had a lovely stay at the Gilded Monkey House. It’s in a quiet neighborhood less than a 10 minute drive to downtown PS. The bedrooms were cozy. The view from the living room is spectacular. The kitchen is stocked with every appliance, glassware and utensil imaginable. If you’re traveling in the winter, treat yourself and have the pool heated. It’s worth every penny! And Tim was quick to respond to any questions.

Fantastic introduction to Palm Springs

We loved this house! Spacious inside with cool interior decor and the backyard was a dream. There was room for the whole family to spread out. The dog loved the cool floor tiles and backyard grass. The hosts were helpful, responsive and informative. The kitchen had everything we needed and the pool had all the tools and toys needed for a great stay. The garage didn’t fit our giant auto so the car was pretty hot getting in but that wasn’t a big deal. Definitely would stay here again!

TOP DRAWER!!

Flying in from BOS and arriving at Vista Norte, my partners and friends found the location as described and represented exactly as the pictures posted on VRBO. The neighborhood is quiet and friendly. The house has wonderful views of the mountains and the backyard and outdoor pool is beautiful. Inside the house is completely welcoming. 4 bd 2 ba with plently of room to move around. It is situated convenient to a plaza where you can pick up supplies for your stay and you are minutes from the whole downtown scene for great shopping and restaurants. It is definitely a destination I would come to again. I highly recommend Vist Norte.

Look no further!

Timothy and Robin were amazing hosts! They were so considerate, thinking 2 steps ahead! Everything we needed, was there. Timothy was very transparent and honest in our conversations. They always responded very quickly. After our stay, I noticed my apple pencil was missing. They immediately checked around the house and let me know they could not find it. BUT luckily it ended up falling through the cracks in my luggage and I found it! The house is even cuter in person and great location!

Every year, we make our way to Palm Springs to celebrate our birthdays, and this year's stay at the Palm Springs house rental was beyond exceptional. If I could, I would gladly give it 10 stars for our unforgettable experience. What truly set this rental apart, though, was the exceptional hospitality of the owner. When a hurricane alert disrupted our plans and we had to cut our trip short due to the safety of our babies, the owner's response was nothing short of incredible. Not only were they understanding of our situation, but they went above and beyond by offering to refund us for the nights we couldn't stay. This level of compassion and understanding is truly rare and greatly appreciated. While our stay was shorter than intended, the memories we made and the warmth of the owner's gesture have left an indelible mark on us. We would love to host you and have you feel as comfortable as we do in Palm Springs. The night life is great with lots of restaurants, bars, and shops close by. It's also quiet for daytime recovery!
