Wonderful view of Ohio River from pool/fire pit areas. Well-furnished and a great time period vibe with the house and grounds. Bedroom furniture, bedding ensembles and dining room are incredible. Perfect for large family holiday. Hosts were very nice and great to work with!
The home is spacious, very welcoming, historic furniture is beautiful. Kitchen has a large supply of formal glasses and plates, but we needed plastic plates and glasses to be used on the porch, and utensils for cooking and left over containers as we we did cook at home quite a bit. Great view of the Ohio River, relaxing back yard with a fire pit and a pool with a heater
Our family group of ten thoroughly it stay at this beautiful and spacious historic home! Heated pool was lovely temperature in October. Fire pit was a great location for hanging out day and night. Riverviews are stunning.
While sitting at the firepit high atop the bluff where this house is situated, a bald eagle passed by at just about eye level and settled into its nest in a nearby tree! Very, very cool Just don't see that every day!!
Hosts were friendly, responsive and accommodating. Would definitely recommend.
