About the property

Condo, 3 Bedrooms + Convertible bed(s), 2 Baths, (Sleeps 7-9)

We can help reduce your cost of skiing and still give you a quality condo. My husband is on a personal mission to see that skiing at Big Sky stays affordable for families. Our rates are consistently the most competitive for the value on the mountain. Within walking distance to the base of Big Sky, and are on the free bus route to anywhere on the mountain, meadow or canyon areas. You can view Lone Peak from each window and the private 7 person hot tub.

Clean, comfortable and welcoming-each room boasts a theme-the master bedroom is the 'moose' of relaxation with it's king bed. Our yellow flower quilt queen bed sits in front of an authentic picket fence from a North Dakota farm. The end tables are topped with recycled wood from the ceiling of a pioneer home. The third bedroom is for cowboys and cowgirls with a wood bunk of a double bed and single bed on top, complete with a stuffed pony.

Fully equipped kitchen including a Kitchen aid mixer for the ambitious. Glass and plastic wine glasses. Private washer and dryer. This condo is 5 years old. We have a property manager on site to ensure you have everything you need for a perfect stay. Since we've lived at Big Sky on and off for 30 years, we welcome your calls for information on the area.

Back in North Dakota, I manage two Associations and Cal is a state weatherization manager/trainer.

Cal purchased this condo in 2004

Why Cal chose Big Sky

OK value

Pictures don't show what's right next door. Some sort of power plant furnace thing. Not loud but unsightly.

Would recommend for a family ski vacation

  • 4 of 5

I think the unit itself looks better than the pictures on VRBO. No problems with any of the amenities and a hot tub was great! The unit was ski in and the walk to the village is about 15 to 20 minutes. My family and I really enjoyed our time at this property and would recommend it to a friend

Owner's Response: Thanks Robert, I just completed the back splash and under counter lighting 2 days before you arrived, glad you enjoyed it. There is a shuttle that could have taken you to the lifts, or you could also just walk or drive to the day skier parking area and caught another shuttle, which you probably knew as it was in the material I sent you. Thanks again, Cal

Three Bedroom Close to Lifts

  • 4 of 5

This unit is in a large apartment complex. Ground floor with a hot tub and a partial view of Lone Peak. Décor is western flavor with moose and bears. Didn't use the kitchen, but it was large and seemed well stocked. No AC, but not needed. Internet is wide open and unlocked and used by the whole complex. Seemed like fast internet. Check the fees before booking as the cleaning fee and hot tub fee seemed high. They charge $60 I believe to change the water in the hot tub, but I have my doubts about that being done. Overall a good experience. I would recommend this place.

Owner's Response: Josh, all our fees are as charged by the maid company and hot tub company. The water is changed after every client, if there is some doubt our property manager should be called immediately and it will be taken care of. Thanks, Cal

Almost ski in/ski out

  • 5 of 5

This is our 3rd time staying at this condo. Cal and Vicky are great hosts. The condo is in great condition, it has everything we needed, it's so close to the resort you don't even have to go to the free skier parking lot. The shuttle comes almost to you. The hot tub is so relaxing after a day on the slopes. Having a washer/dryer is handy!! We cooked in almost every night, the kitchen is very well appointed (crock pot, pitcher for juice, cheese grater, etc). I think the TV in the living room is new since our last stay and maybe the master bedroom too. The living room has new furniture, very comfy and relaxing!! Cal and Vicky are always making sure things are in good working order and up to date. It's nice to have free wifi too. The hot tub was not hot when we first got there, we sent a quick email to Cal and w/in minutes he responded and said that the maintenance guys were in that morning to service it and it started heating up. I think that was our only hiccup, which doesn't even really count since it was fixed w/in an hour. Thanks again for your hospitality and we can't wait to stay here again.

Very comfortable, prompt service!

  • 5 of 5

This was a very comfortable fit for my family. The furnishings were all sturdy so I didn't have to worry about my kids every minute. The kitchen was very well equipped and even had a slow cooker and blender available! The hot tub was wonderful. The only problem we had was the Internet was not working when we arrived. That was fixed promptly and gave us no troubles afterwards! Thanks for making our first VRBO experience so easy and fun!
