We can help reduce your cost of skiing and still give you a quality condo. My husband is on a personal mission to see that skiing at Big Sky stays affordable for families. Our rates are consistently the most competitive for the value on the mountain. Within walking distance to the base of Big Sky, and are on the free bus route to anywhere on the mountain, meadow or canyon areas. You can view Lone Peak from each window and the private 7 person hot tub.
Clean, comfortable and welcoming-each room boasts a theme-the master bedroom is the 'moose' of relaxation with it's king bed. Our yellow flower quilt queen bed sits in front of an authentic picket fence from a North Dakota farm. The end tables are topped with recycled wood from the ceiling of a pioneer home. The third bedroom is for cowboys and cowgirls with a wood bunk of a double bed and single bed on top, complete with a stuffed pony.
Fully equipped kitchen including a Kitchen aid mixer for the ambitious. Glass and plastic wine glasses. Private washer and dryer. This condo is 5 years old. We have a property manager on site to ensure you have everything you need for a perfect stay. Since we've lived at Big Sky on and off for 30 years, we welcome your calls for information on the area.

Cal and I have owned a condo at Big Sky since 1980. We've enjoyed watching Big Sky grow over the years and every year, it's better than before. We will work hard to make sure your vacation experience is both affordable and fantastic at the same time. Back in North Dakota, I manage two Associations and Cal is a state weatherization manager/trainer.
Cal purchased this Condo in 2004
Why Cal chose Big Sky Mountain Village
Big Sky offers the longest ski runs in North America so there is slope that's perfect for every level of skier.
What makes this Condo unique
Our condo has a sense of peace and comfort that adds to the relaxation of the experience. We get about 30% of our clients return to stay with us because they like the location, cost and the decor.

We really enjoyed Cal’s place gor many reasons. It was easy to get to the ski shuttles. The hot tub was great for after skiing each day. The place was stocked with great kitchen Items. It was perfect for the five that stayed and I would stay here again for sure.
Very nice property with a convenient location
Very nice property with a convenient location. Not quite ski-in ski-out, but only a few minute drive to free parking.
Affordable and friendly
Cal was so gracious to work with us on our dates. Our daughter was competing in the State Archery Tournament and her time was not assigned until a few weeks before our trip. We shifted our dates back and forth twice and he never grumbled. Thank you Cal for tolerating our timing! (P.S. She shot well and is going on to compete at Nationals!) It was really great to be able to do it all.
When we arrived we discovered this place was much more spacious than we thought! There was plenty of room for the whole family of six. The kitchen is nicely stocked with everything you need for a week and some unexpected extras, like sugar and cinnamon were in the cupboard which was great because I forgot those creature comforts at home. One tip though is to bring groceries or buy them on your way through Bozeman. Prices at the 3 tiny grocers in Bog Sky are high. While there is no dining table, and really no place to put one, the kitchen bar is sufficient and there were extra bar stools in the closet we pulled out for meals.
There were tons of games, dvds, reliable WiFi, and tv to entertain us when we weren’t skiing or hot tubbing. The hot tub was nice and warm which isn’t always the case in rentals. As an extra bonus there were ski boot dryers waiting for us too! There is nothing better than warm, dry boots every morning. And our gloves were easily dried in the clothes dryer too. The water heater also provided plenty of warm water for showers for all six of us even when running two showers at a time.
The only difficulty we had was the shuttle. It is highly unreliable. We ended up walking to the lift two of the four days which got us quite sweaty and made our feet sore. It is not as close as is preferable in ski boots but it is doable. Driving to the free lot may have been a slightly better choice but even the trailer taking people to the lift from there didn’t start very early. The good news is that we discovered it’s possible to ski back to the condo only having to take off skis to cross the last street. So the days ended beautifully. While I still prefer true ski in/out accommodations you simply can’t beat the price and comfort of this condo.
Thank you so much for the kind review it is very much appreciated. I am surprised about the area shuttle not being on time, usually they are pretty good. I will call them and find out if they had problems those days.
I hope your daughter does well at the nationals. Have fun.
Great place and location
Nice condo and would stay there again
Thanks for the kind review. We pride ourselves in offering a great condo at a reasonable rate.
Great Condo Great Location
This condo was perfect for our annual guys ski trip. The ski shuttle picks you up right at the parking lot and drops you off at the mountain base in 15 minutes. We walked to White Otter Lift on morning but it was not really a time saver and it is a bit of a hike. It is nice that you can ski back to within 50 yards on the condo. However finding your way there the first time was a little hit or miss. Hint: look for "Powder Ridge Condos" and "White Otter Bridge". Once you have it figured out it is easy. We skied back to the condo for lunch every day, which helps with cost savings, not having to eat on the mountain. The Condo is spacious and well stocked. Beds were comfortable. Water was hot. Mountain village is 8 miles, 15 minutes away for ski rentals, groceries, brew pub, etc. We would definitely stay here when skiing Big Sky.
Ken, thank you for the kind review. We are thrilled you enjoyed the mountain and condo. We certainly try to provide a first class experience for a reasonable price. Thanks again.
Excellent location with all you would need or want
Loved the location of the condo and all it had to offer. Beds were super comfortable, kitchen fully stocked, fire with a flip of a switch, and a great hot tub. There is even a ski locker in the hallway of the building. Can get to the slopes in minutes by the parking lot tram or the bus that picks up outside unit. We even took the buses to get down the mountain for dinner. Cal was great to work with.
