Not sure why she is stating I changed the checkout time; I received a message from her a day before her check in day stating she knows it's only an hour difference, but she was expecting an 11am check out. Our check out time has always been 10am. We did have other guest checking in on her check out date, so we made arrangements to be able to accommodate her request of the late check out. As for the water softener, we had our water company come to the house and fix the issue during her stay. Again, not sure why she is stating that the water softener was not fixed. We have not had any issues since then. The lock situation I had made a suggestion because it was 9:00pm and was trying to come up with a solution and yes, I should have reached back out to her on getting the lock fixed during her stay. The locks have been fixed. The stove she is referring to is an old commercial stove that we chose not to use because the pilot light stays on and we did not feel comfortable with people using it. If any kind of breeze comes through it could blow the pilot light out and gas would be leaking out. We shut the gas off to that stove and put a new gas line and a new stove right next to it. This is why we don't advertise that we have it on our listing. We have a sign stating due to safety concerns unable to use. As far as the electrical goes not once was I contacted by her with any concerns. We did find the wires to the underlighting in the pantry had been cut and taped back together with electrical tape. We have removed the lighting. We're not sure how the wires were cut. As for the outlet covers that she was concerned with we did find a couple that were missing. We have made sure all covers are on. In order to get to this beautiful location, you have to go down a dirt road for a couple miles. I'm sorry that our lake house was not as what you expected. We have had nothing but great experiences with other guest. You can check our reviews from VRBO and other booking sites and see the responses.
