Abe's Cool Cabin is a stunning log cabin style property, ideal for larger families. Located in a beautiful, desirable area of Big Bear in the Fox Farm neighborhood. Abe's has beautiful forest views and is just a short drive to the ski slopes, lake, golf, zoo, restaurants, shops, and more!

LIVING SPACE - Spacious 2100+ sq ft home with living room, TV, dining table, bar seating, a stunning floor to ceiling river rock gas fireplace, and plenty of comfortable living room seating.

ROOMS & BEDS - 4 bedroom, 3 bath. Upstairs master suite has a king bed, sitting area, TV, DVD player, and private bath. Downstairs second bedroom has a queen bed, TV, DVD player. Downstairs third bedroom has a queen bed, TV, DVD player. Upstairs fourth bedroom has three twin beds, each with a trundle bed, TV, DVD player, and bath. Extra blankets and pillows are available.

KITCHEN - Stove with oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, blender, toaster, coffee maker, crockpot, rice cooker, dishes, pots/pans, and more.

AMENITIES - Game room with pool table and foosball! Board games and card games. TVs with cable and fast WiFi. Relax in the glow of the gorgeous gas fireplace. Laundry area with side-by-side washer/dryer.

Turn the thermostat to 55 degrees. Do not turn off heaters, may result in frozen pipes. Cabins with a hot tub must have jets shut off, cover on and locked. Wash, dry, and put away all dishes.
Remove all trash and take to the appropriate trash site location. See confirmation for address. Trash removal is the City/County Law and not our rule.
Text us at 909-403-3217 upon departure and leave the name of the cabin. Report any damages or information we should be aware of about the property.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Wash all dishes.
Per City/County ordinance, garbage must be taken by the guest to one of the locations listed on your confirmation.

We had a wonderful family trip. Cool cabins allowed us to go to cabin a little early which was greatly appreciated!! Cabin was wonderful and location was great! Four generations enjoyed a great weekend with all the conveniences of home! I would recommend this cabin.

The host was really good, thankfully we didn't need to bother the host too much. We stayed at "Abe's cool cabin" the stay was pretty good over all there was some left over cans and water bottles in the porch. spider webs here and there some things that needed some organizing. There was also some missing billiards balls and a broken snow shovel that was repaired with tape, one of the blinds in the room kept falling off. It's the little things here and there that was an inconvenience but not too much to make a fuss.

Abe’s Place

Home was beautiful! Cabin staff polite. Unfortunately some of the amenities were not working and maintenance staff had to come out several times. Some amenities were not able to be repaired during our stay. Quite a bit of money for there to be several amenities in need of repair. Overall though, we enjoyed our family time.

Pretty place. Kind average.

It's expensive so you expect a lot. The property manager was excellent. That is was important so I would give the customer service (Cool Cabins) a 10. The AC I'm this place is very loud and there is only one thermostat so the rooms upstairs got very hot. Kids could sleep up there two of the nights because it was so hot. The living space was nice and the location is very good for getting to town and the slopes.

Nice cabin but some interruptions

Overall it's a great cabin for a family stay, although it's a very quiet neighborhood. We were told we couldn't be in the spa after 9pm due to the noise ordinance, so we got out around 810pm on a Sat night and shortly after, the management company came over and said there was a noise complaint. Then the same night the management company showed up at 1145pm knocking on our door waking us up (including our young kids) and asked if we called about the heater. Apparently they had the wrong cabin! So our first night was a little rough. They extended our check out time and took the trash which was nice, but I would have rather had a good night's sleep.

We do apologize for the disturbances that you had to endure. The noise ordinance is strict here in Big Bear especially in that area but sometimes the neighbors can be challenging and can call in a noise complaint even if the noise is coming from the inside. We are very sorry that you were disturbed in the middle of the night due to an error from a guest providing us with the incorrect address. We understand that this was a huge inconvenience and we do understand that a late check-out did not make up for us disturbing you while you were sleeping but we hope that the extra time gave you and your family some more time to enjoy Big Bear. Again, we apologize and hope that your stay was enjoyable apart from these unnecessary and accidental disturbances.

Fantastic property

Great house with all the trimmings! Took our daughter and 8 friends for her 18th birthday as well as my husband and I. We all had comfortable accommodations, BBQ'd, and had movie night.
