Welcome to your El Prado Casita! This spacious casita is conveniently located right in between Taos Plaza and Taos Ski Valley. You will find yourself in a quiet neighborhood with some of the best views of the mountains. You will be a 10 minute drive to the main street / plaza of Taos, 10 minute drive to the Gorge Bridge and a 20 minute drive up the mountain to the Ski Valley! Whether you're coming to hike, ski, or just get some peace and quiet - you will have a cozy space waiting for you!

Very nice stay. Host was quick to respond to my questions. Quiet neighborhood, easy to find. Kitchen has all you need. Weather was very mild for a January and the heat worked great. I think it could keep you very warm in cold weather. Bed was very comfortable. This is a place I could come back to.

“Like new” casita

Lovely casita, perfect size for 2 adults. Just a little ways outside of Taos so nice and quiet. Would definitely stay here again.

Great property

This was perfect for some days up at the Taos Ski Valley. The kitchen has all you need. Very comfortable casita. I hope to visit again.

Perfect place for couples or 2 people

My daughter and I stayed at this cute casita while visiting Taos. We were only visiting for one night, but I’d absolutely stay longer if possible in the future! The home had everything we needed and was clean and comfortable. We both loved the coziness and the modern southwestern decor. The neighborhood was quite and peaceful, and the views outside were gorgeous.

Beautiful, comfortable, clean!

This is a beautiful, clean, comfortable space and I was glad to use it as my base while I explored Taos and the vicinity. Communication, rules, and recommendations were easy and clear. Highly recommend.

Cozy, clean and private

As the title suggest, the Casita was cozy clean and very private. We had great views and easy access to the Taos village, athough we hilariously drove past the street where the Casita was almost every time haha. In the dark.

Mini Ski Getaway

Convenient location. Easy access. Short drive to Taos Ski Valley and minutes from downtown Taos. Our accommodations had everything we needed. The kitchen was lacking nothing. The host thought of everything. Loved the cute gas fireplace in the living room. The bathroom was large and the bedroom was spacious and the bed was super comfortable.

Cozy casita at a reasonable price

Cozy place with awesome views conveniently located near town, hiking and ski valley. Nice kitchen and bathroom (shower could use a grab bar; I slipped once). The bed was small, more like a double than a queen, but with a very comfortable, memory foam mattress. Nicole was helpful and responsive.

We did want to clarify a couple of points for future guests: the bed is a standard queen-size mattress, though we understand comfort and perception can vary from person to person. Additionally, while we’re sorry to hear about your slip, the shower is not advertised as ADA-compliant and does not include accessibility features like grab bars. Extraordinary Casita

Everything went smoothly. Nicole communicated excellently. The Casita had everything we needed and more. Great location. 5 minutes from our hot air ballon ride headquarters! If (when) we come back to Taos we will definitely like to stay here again. Thank you, Nicole!!!

Pretty Home

Lovely and clean place with very uncomfortable furniture. Had the mattress and the couch been comfortable we would have loved this place. Neither were comfortable at all, unfortunately. And there was a very bright (nightlight, bug repellent?) in the bedroom, that lit up the room, also making sleep difficult. We were afraid the owners would be upset if we unplugged it. Sigh.

Hi Jane, Thank you for your feedback! We would like to mention that we were not contacted at all during your stay about any of your concerns. We have had numerous guests rave about how comfortable the bed is in the casita and we even get asked where it is from! As far as the nightlight, we have had complaints in the past about not having them, so we have added them. Guests are more than welcome to unplug any lights that may cause discomfort to them. Nothing for us to get upset about! We’re always here to assist our guests and want to ensure everyone is as comfortable as possible.
