Forest as Your Backyard - Near Flagstaff, Grand Canyon, Sedona
STR-25-0621 NOTE...We keep it clean. We value your safety and are doing our part to clean the frequently touched surfaces before you arrive.
The backyard is 200+ square miles of national forest, complete with elk, deer, and all sorts of other wildlife. Very private location and a great spot for a relaxing time in the mountains or as a place to get away and entertain family & friends after a day on the slopes, sledding, hiking, day trips with the kids.
One master bedroom sleeps 2 in a queen sized bed. The loft comfortably sleeps 4 in a queen and two twin beds. There is also a Murphy bed in the second living room to sleep 2 more. An adult can sleep on the couch and a child can seep on the loveseat. Total bed space is 10 people.
The main family room is a great space for reading or any other relaxing activity. Tongue & groove pine with a stone fireplace and 60 inch TV gives the place a real old time cabin feel. This room is a wonderfully quiet space to read by the fire. Attached is the dining room with adjacent kitchen. The newly remodeled and fully furnished kitchen includes all the comforts of home, including: a microwave, stove, oven, dishwasher, coffeemaker, breakfast bar, full sized fridge/freezer with icemaker, and all utensils. There is even a gas grill outside.
The back half of the cabin - with national forest views through almost every window - can be closed off from the sleeping, reading, eating area - for entertaining. This is a great feature if you don't want to wake up the kids while you play pool, cards, or watch a movie or game on the 60 inch LCD. There are two entertaining rooms, a laundry, and a full bathroom. One room contains a 60 inch HDTV with a love seat and sofa in addition to the 8 foot pool table. The other room contains a dining table, pellet stove, and full sized Murphy bed. You can walk out the large sliding door to step into the backyard for a private national forest view. The Murphy bed also takes advantage of the view as it is on the opposite wall from the large glass door.
Out front there is a massive new (2020) covered porch with a porch swing and outdoor dining table. It is a great spot to sit and watch the storms boil up and over the hill during the summer months.
Our cabin is a short drive from Phoenix - as little as 1.5 hours from the north side. Come up stay at our place. We have had countless wonderful weekends with our family over several decades. I am sure that you will enjoy your stay too.

Place was clean and had everything we needed!!! Quiet neighborhood. Host answered questions right away! Definitely would stay here again when we head back
The view was the best! We always try to come up north to get away from everything for my wife's birthday, and this year with some new additions, it was a full family event!Plenty of things to do while at the cabin, as well as Humphrey's Peak and Out of Africa less than an hour away in either direction.Hope to make this a yearly stay here!
The property was exactly as advertised with the woods and traila behind the house. The neighbors were all freibdly and very nice which is a nice change from several rental locations.
We have stayed here numerous times and everything is always great. The view of the forest is always breathtaking and the front porch is awesome. The host is very quick to answer any questions. This cabin is the best.
Beautiful cabin. It was the hotest week of the year and unfortunately the cabin did not have AC. We never could figure out how the TV worked. Host was very responsive.
This house has great features. Plenty of room for 2 adults 3 teens.
The reviews are correct: star view is incredible here. Pellet heaters worked very well.
The drive into Sedona that Bradley suggests is beautiful. Host is accessible and pleasant.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Amazing Find
My sister and our families had an amazing time. This cabin was spacious, warm and inviting. We had a great time at the game table and pool table. Loved sitting on the pouch swing watching the snow fall on our last morning there. Hoping to make this a yearly tradition. Cannot wait to stay here again.
So glad i found this place! My family wanted to get up north for a few days and we had a great time! This cabin was clean, well- equipped in the kitchen, the bedrooms, and the game area. We enjoyed playing pool while cooking dinner and hanging out near the warm pellet stoves playing games. This was a very nice place to have a our hub. Thanks Brad!!
Great short weekend visit. The house had everything we needed and more. Home was clean and had plenty of space. Owner had open communication and was available for questions. Only thing I would recommend is buying new pool table supplies.

Our Snow Vacation
My family has made it a tradition to come to the Munds Park Cabin 3 years in a row during Christmas break for our kids. It's a perfect location. Close to Flagstaff and Snowbowl for sledding and skiing/snowboarding. The cabin itself is adorable. Our boys play pool for hours. The game table is perfect for family fun. And it's fun to stoke the fire to keep warm! They love the loft area and claim their beds as soon as we arrive. Brad is a gracious host. We look forward to coming back again this Christmas!

Thanks so much, we are looking forward to your return. We upgraded the music and the pool cues. Tell a friend.
If you enjoy walking/hiking the woods you’ll really like this place. A few steps and you’re out in it. If you’re a start gazer be prepared to be amazed. Being from the city I was totally amazed at how many more stars are in the night sky.
Since we went in November we had to get used to the pellet stoves for heat. Not a big deal at all.
