Nestled on 6 Acres of Natural Landscapes away from just about everyone. 10 Minutes from The Vermont Border & Downtown Salem. 1 Hour from Lake George & Saratoga Springs. Approx. 1 Hour to Stratton & Mount Snow. Have a wonderful day & hopefully The Zen Barn can be part of your next adventure!

Needed affordable ski access

This was a great spot to stay. The ski mountain was a hour away, but this was far more affordable and the drive to Okemo is lovely.

Very Zen

We loved our stay. Very relaxing, the barn was a great place to unwind. The musical instruments were much appreciated - especially the guitars. 😎 There was a litter of grey fox kits (4 of them!) that joined us in the yard. The cutest little hints you’ve ever seen! The Zenbarn kitchen was well stocked for our needs and we made a wonderful dinner our first night. The Strawberry full moon graced us with its light on our second night adding another highlight to our trip. We loved the place and we’ll be back!

My partner and I bought the ZenBarn to be able to experience Upstate New York / Vermont whenever we'd like. We also wanted to extend the invitation out to our family and friends, when we decided we wanted to open the invitation to anyone who is interested in the great World of Upstate New York. We have 6 Acres to explore and when the day is done there is a Clawfoot Tub and a WoodStove to make you feel right at home.

Why they chose this property

The ZenBarn combines the classic Upstate Farmhouse with Mid-Century Modern while showcasing some of the our Artwork. We utilize the ZenBarn as an Art Studio when the projects are too big for the City. However, we feel being surrounded by Nature makes it more inspiring anyway so we tend to make the projects bigger. The ZenBarn is versatile, if you are a family on a ski-trip, or on a hunting trip, or just looking to create Art of your own.
