The spacious, 1200 square foot condo, has everything you need to make your next trip to Copper Mountain unforgettable! Conveniently located in Center Village, it is a short walk to both the American Eagle and American Flyer chairlifts.
The updated kitchen features granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances.The dinning room table has seating for 6 people. The gas fireplace adds ambiance to the well decorated living room. Enjoy great views of the ice skating pond and the surrounding mountains from the enclosed porch with large windows. There is a Queen Sleeper Sofa in the living room and a full bathroom by the entryway.
The master bedroom has King Bed, a flat screen TV, and a desk. There is an en suite bathroom.
The second bedroom has 2 Queen Beds, a TV, and en suite bathroom.
There is a private ski locker for use during your stay, located on the first floor.
Village Square has a large indoor hot tub, sauna and garage parking for 1 vehicle. One additional car can park in the B-Lot across the street (make sure to get a parking pass for B-lot when you check in). Any additional vehicles can park in the North Alpine Lot at the entrance of Copper Mountain. There is no charge for parking.
Extras: WiFi is included with your stay. Copper Mountain Athletic Club access is available to guests booking this property providing FREE access to the indoor pool, hot tubs, saunas, and fitness facility. We loved the location
So, I want to start with what was good. The location was great - Center Village - a small walk to American Eagle and American Flyer. There are 2 lockers. It was great to have a place to put our ski gear without having to hall it up and down in the elevator. The full kitchen with pots and pans to do everything that we needed. There was a lot of living space. We were a family of 7 so our options are limited and this was a good option as far as space.
What was not so good? This is located right outside the center of the Center Village with a great view of the ice skating rink. Great, right? Nope. Conversations are really loud and with the bars close by, drunken "moon howlers" came out every night to wake us up around 1 to 2 AM. The master bedroom King Sized bed was hard as a brick. It seemed very old with no give. I think it needs to be replaced. The master bedroom toilet doesn't flush properly (you have to hold it down to get it to flush). The bathroom space is very tight. Great for keeping warm, hard for getting around. The DVD player in the main room didn't work.
So, over all it was good, but not great. For the price we paid, I think I'll be looking at a different location.
Nice accomodations, good location, prompt maintenance
Plenty of room in this unit! We enjoyed having the 3 bathrooms/2bedrooms. Watched the Christmas Eve fireworks from our glass enclosed balcony. Loved being in Center Village and close to American Flyer and Amer. Eagle lifts. Issues we had staying there were handled promptly and courteously by Sky Run Property Managers. Thermostat for family room/kitchen area did not seem to function and it was hot the first night. Mtce. was prompt in coming out. Took a couple phone calls to get access to the ski lockers, but once we did - loved having the 2 lockers and being able to put on equipment right before you walked out the door to the lift. Garage was great to have, made loading and unloading luggage and groceries a breeze. We would stay here again -- but would ask that they furnish the unit with a crock pot and replace the kitchen table chairs -- a little too rickety for our comfort. Nice to have the wireless internet, dvd player, and ability to hook up the ipods to the stereo system. Having flat panel tvs in each bedroom was nice too. Bathrooms were small, but with three of them it wasn't a problem. Lots of space! Thank you, staff at Sky Run for your professionalism!
