Great location in Jamaica Beach. Plenty of outdoor space. Grill was great, outdoor space is good. It was nice to have a deck upstairs. Downstairs was a bit hot but not too bad. Some areas could use a little TLC, but overall a nice property. Host was great! We enjoyed our time there.

Great time, but not what we expected

My family and I enjoyed our time because we make do with what we have to work with. There was plenty of space for 11 of us - 6 adults, 2 teenagers, and 3 children. Some of the pictures online are misleading, possibly old ones or photo shopped. The layout and location are really great, but the home had some issues that I let the owner know about. Great spot for fishing, and the use of a paddleboat and kayak were a major plus. We did make some good memories over the 4 days we were there! Hopefully, the owners fix the issues because the house has potential to be amazing! We probably wouldn't book this home again unless the safety issues were fixed and the mildew was remedied.

Fabulous house for family gathering. The process was so simple. The house was very nice with beautiful views from most part of the house. The house is so cute and gives a very chill vibes. Thank you for your hospitality.

I was a great location with plenty to do just at the beach house. The online explanation of rooms and beds were confusing and was not what we expected. But we had a great time.

Memorial weekend stay

Overall, it was a great stay and loved the home. We all enjoyed ourselves. Had a little trouble getting in due to the keypad not working properly. Rida kept up with the communication throughout our stay. I honestly wasn't ready to leave and come home. Thank you once again, for having us stay in your home.

Overall we had a wonderful time but there were some things that could be approved upon. 1. Outside deck area could use sone attention, including swings and chairs. Paddleboat needs maintenance but the kayak was a great assett. Enjoyed using the grill. 2. Appreciated the fact that I was able to get inside wirh my scooter, however, we all found the living room. To be on the warm side. I jad to sleep downstairs but wemoved the furniture around so it wo wouldnt be so comfortable to sleep. 3. The kitchen was not as well stocked for our use, no pizza pan, no can opener, not enough pans and boilers. No pitchers, had tobuy one. Not enough pot holders either.Overall nice stay but with a few improvements it would be well worth the price range.

The property was not as it shows in the pictures. Damaged furniture through out the house and on property. Downstairs ac leaks on the floor and has a mildew smell in the unit. Mattress are thin and disgusting. Stayed for less than 18 hours and left. Owner offered full refund but then when i checked out Vrbo stated she never said that even tho have it in writting through text messages.m and spent over 6 hours draling with VRBO. The equipment she offers fishing poles ect are l rusted and spider filled. Horrible experience for my family and extended family. The outside patio upstairs has lifted boards and nails that could easily harm someone.The stiars inaide are so steep it is hard to use so if someone is disabled then i would stay far away. Little to no wi dow cpvering thru the house so ppl can look in anytime they would like. Overall a bad experiance and place to stay.

Birthday at the Beach

My family and few friends came together to celebrate my 40th. This house is nice and quiet at the end of the street on the bay. Fun activities on the bay and a quick golf cart ride to the beach. Outdoor area is nice and large and we loved the separation of rooms up top and kitchen on bottom. People could sleep in and others could grab their coffee and hang out not worrying about waking others. Rida was quick and responsive!!

Very Misleading Advertisement of Property

The VRBO pictures show a pristine house in excellent condition. This is not what you see in person. Upon arriving at the home, we were greeted with a hot, musty, moldy downstairs filled with dirty floors and mold on the ceilings. Bathroom towels in the cabinets were very damp, smelled of a musty odor and useable. The floor downstairs was cracking, and covered up with carpeting. Mold and rust covers several rooms downstairs and include rusted cannon light fixtures. The upstairs flooring has soft spots in it, but it was better. When I reached out to the host initially she stated "This must've happened in a span of a week since our last cleaning did not report it. The towels are probably wet due to humidity. Which is why you have full access of washer and dryer so if you feel the need you can wash them." We were unable to find another place to stay for Memorial Day weekend. Therefore, we spent the first few hours of our stay cleaning! We washed bedding, because there were bugs on them. We vacuumed and swept and wiped all counters. After contacting VRBO with documented pictures of the home, the host responded that "Due to all the rain we had in past few weeks we had some water damage which we fixed. They didn't paint up the ceiling as it was close to your check in and would leave a strong paint smell. I was unaware they didn't finish the job. This is not mold, it's a result of water damage. We will consider reimbursing." We have yet to see any reimbursement!
