About Meg O'Regan
We are retired executive who volunteer with various organizations. We belong to a sailing club and boat in the Chesapeake and beyond. We are community oriented and love being this close to Annapolis, the nation's capitol and Baltimore where we enjoy many restaurants, historical monuments, museums, and fabulous places to eat.
Meg O'Regan purchased this House in 2002
Why Meg O'Regan chose Cape Saint Claire
You will enjoy your stay in our lovely home which we bought because of the views and wraparound decks and because it is near downtown Annapolis, the sailing capitol of America. It is a wonderful area with lots of history and fun things to do. The water activities in this community are second to none. Book now as Commissioning Week is upon us!

Off the charts view of water, but house needs some interior upgrades
Spent entire month of November in this house, dissecting homesites and public access to nearby Annapolis water. Can say unequivocally this property's views are at the top, with accompanying fowl and passing boats adding spice to our stay. Thornell and Meg, the owners, were very gracious welcoming us, and providing some timely maintenance when needed. They are both quite familiar with the surroundings and their advice was warmly appreciated. Property is situated about 18 minutes from downtown Annapolis, but the drive there was a delight, anytime during the 24 hour day.
We were there in late fall, so the very ample heated water and quick start-up heating ducts were most appreciated. Kitchen was a bit tight, but sufficiently efficient even when we invited guests and family for Thanksgiving. What is needed, however, are some upgrades- replace the old sofa in the 'den'...and add some cushion chairs. Also, in 3 bedrooms, replace bedside chairs that acted as bedside tables.
All in all, a wonderful relaxing stay in Annapolis area.
Sincerely, from Texas.
Very comfortable and well stocked house in a beautiful location. Great for a family vacation!
We had a great time staying at this house! We have two infants and 4 to 6 adults, all comfortably settled. The house has all the basics covered, with great linens and fully stocked kitchen. The house location gives you a great mix of staying at a quiet place, yet next to Annapolis and close to major roads. The views from the house (which can be admired from one of the 4 decks) is a separate attraction in itself - simply gorgeous - with a small lake and the Bay. This is an end unit, so you get to be right over the water. For nature lovers, this location provides a wonderful chance to appreciate biodiversity of the Bay, we counted not less than 10 species of birds. Ospreys live on the trees next to the house and a red fox passes by to hunt every day by the edge of the water in front of the house. Obviously, no chance for wildlife to intersect with humans, as there is no direct access to the lake. That said, there are two beaches nearby: one within 5-7 minutes walk and the other one within 30 min walk or a short drive. Overall, kudos to the owners and a big thanks for an opportunity to stay at such a nice and unique location. I would recommend it anyone.
