Super spacious basement studio located off River Road and Puyallup, close to all conveniences that Pierce County has to offer!

Located next to the Puyallup light rail station so public transportation to Seattle/King County is very feasible.

Located close (~20 min drive) to JBLM gate.

Being 100% private, you will have all the amenities to yourself. Coin operated Washer/Dryer in unit, free parking, great amenities, and more!

The space
This is a newly remodeled basement unit in an older building, so you may hear footsteps and noises from the unit above (we have calming white noise machines throughout to minimize). The building is close to light rail, so you may hear some train noises during your stay. We have done the best we can to sound proof the space, however sometimes you may hear other guests and their children.

Really great place!

Location so easy to find go anywhere from the unit, quiet, clean, very comfy; host/owner quick to respond and has thoughtful amenities. Recommend for a relaxing getaway!

The property was pretty nice and clean. The beds were comfortable and the studio was quite spacious. The kitchenette had all the necessary items and we cooked 3-4 meals during our stay. The location was also good with stores nearby. Considering it was basement, it was pretty quiet. We had a wonderful stay at this place.

Wonderful Stay

My family and I had a wonderful stay! We truly loved the location,it’s peaceful and quiet, and just about an hour away from the mountains, which made it perfect for a day trip. The beds were very comfortable, and the house was clean and well-equipped with everything we needed. We really enjoyed our time here and definitely intend to return in the future. Highly recommend!

It's as advertised. The two beds in the photo are very comfortable, the room is very large and attractively furnished and set up, and cleanliness is excellent. There is almost no natural light (only a small out-of-reach window, but that was ok with us. Afterall, it's a remodeled basement. Be aware that there are a fair number of black steps going down and bring quarters if you plan to use the washer or dryer. I think it would be doable but tight for 6 people. If you are a party of 6, check that the host can supply that many dishes and utensils. (When we were there, there were enough for 4. I think this host would gladly offer more if needed, however.

Perfect Accommodations

The Vrbo was an amazing experience with all the accommodations that my family of 6 could ask for on such a short notice. The hosts was obliging and made sure that we wanted for nothing. It was the perfect size for our quick turnaround without being crowded. It was very clean and stylish. They made sure that we were well stocked with basic needs and some relaxing comforts. We will definitely be renting this place again and I would recommend for anyone that is wanting somewhere that is private, comfortable, and quiet for a get a way in the heart of downtown Puyallup.

Vacation to visit family

The studio apartment was nice. Clean and well appointed. However, contact with the owner/manager could have been better. Was informed I would receive check in information the day of arrival. Check in time was 4pm; took several texts and almost 45 minutes to get answers, so didn’t get access until about 445 pm. While my 9 year old grandson had to sit in the car

Cute Place

This was a perfect little place for the four of us to stay. My kids, 14/15, LOVED it and just thought it would be the best place to live when they move out...lol. My son also really enjoyed the bath robes. He wore one the entire time we were there. I had to promise to buy him one when we got home just so he'd leave it there! I will say, I was expecting it to be in the basement of a house, so that's what we were looking for. It's actually in a row of 4 apartments off the street. Just in case anyone reading this is booking. Easy to find though, we just had to turn around ;)

The studio itself was great, clean and spacious, there was plenty of bedding/towels/shower soaps/dishes etc. for the whole stay. Do know that you need coins for the laundry, there isn’t an actual stove/oven (just a few items like crockpot, hot plate, microwave etc. so plan meals accordingly. Overall it was a great stay, but we did hear the upstairs neighbors a lot, which was the only minor complaint since we had a baby who has trouble sleeping (nap time and bedtime). There are also cameras which provided a nice sense of security as well. I’d give it a 4.5/5 stars!

Just as advertised!

Andrew and Vivian are wonderful hosts and the property was absolutely perfectfor our needs. It was immaculately clean on our arrival and even had a sound machine with nature sounds playing, which made for a lovely, comfortable, serene space. The kitchenette had everything we needed during our stay including a full-sized fridge, an induction stove top, as well as a keurig machine, microwave, convection oven, toaster and blender. The hosts also provided a basket of small breakfast items, coffee, condiments and snacks which was very much appreciated. The hosts were good communicators (recommend texting them directly via number on the VRBO booking). We had taken an early flight to attend the Taylor Swift concert and they kindly allowed us an early check-in, which was very much appreciated. The bathroom had shampoo, conditioner, bodywash, fluffy towels and soft robes! Our hosts were very helpful with providing routes and info on the city and how to get to our destinations and overall this was a very positive experience! We would hightly recommend this rental to anyone in the Puyallup area. It is about a 40 mins from Seattle so keep that in mind if you are relying on Uber/Lyft. We had no issues getting a ride, even with the concert. Thank you to Andrew and Vivian-you were fabulous hosts and if we are ever back in the area, we will definitely be back!
