Convenience is everything when you are on vacation and Kamaole Sands #1-104 provides just that! The complex is ideally located right across the street from the popular Kamaole Beach III park and building one is a quick walk to the beach. The bedroom features a king bed, a ceiling fan, and a split system air conditioner as well as an en suite bathroom with walk-in shower. In the living room you will find a sofa sleeper and a cable TV, split A/C and a ceiling fan. There is an in-unit washer/dryer provided for your use and this unit comes equipped with a convenient second bathroom with shower! Kamaole Sands #1-104 provides a cooler, beach chairs, and beach towels for your outdoor adventures. Sleeps 4.
Same day bookings and those arriving within 48 hours of making the reservation requires a phone call to Rentals Maui for confirmation.
Bookings made within 7 days of arrival will require an ID check and screening prior to confirmation.
Longer stays require additional terms and conditions. Please contact Rentals Maui for inquiries longer than 60 nights.

Kamaole Sands is the premiere property in South Kihei. Located across the street from Kamaole Beach III. Whale watch, swim, snorkel, walk miles on the beach and watch the most amazing sunsets imaginable. There are 15 acres of lush tropical landscaping, waterscapes, and fountains. There's a fully-equipped gym / workout facility with an amazing view overlooking the pool area. In addition there is a large family style swimming pool, two hot tubs, a children's wading pool, and 10 barbecue areas with shaded picnic tables. Kamaole Sands features two tennis courts (no fee) and three pickleball courts. Adult and junior tennis rackets and pickleball paddles are available to rent with complementary balls. Complimentary parking in a private, well-lit and security patrolled parking lot. Electric Vehicle (EV) charging stations are available for a fee on a first come, first served basis.Wi-Fi available in most areas and a convenient cyber cafe is in the lobby. Activity area with ping pong, foosball, and other games for all ages -- free lending library. Free Maui News daily newspaper available at the pool area. Every Wednesday, Kamaole Sands hosts a complimentary gathering with live music and hula dancers. Kamaole Sands is centrally located and is in walking distance to shops, restaurants and activities. It is also minutes from the championship golf courses of Wailea and Makena.

Loved the location right across the street from Kamaole III Beach Park. Great kitchen and ground floor Lanai. All the beach toys you will need!

The condo was beautiful and in good shape. The amenities were accommodating. Loved the fact that there was a coffee grinder and a drip coffee pot. It would be helpful for future guests to know what detergents they need. We had a repair that needed to be done on the fan Rio stat and they were there to fix it within hours. The only thing I can say that they should improve upon is the internet. We couldn't watch TV in the bedroom if people were watching the TV in the living room. Not enough signal. Might as well just remove the TV in the bedroom.

Kamaole Sands never disappoints

Another great stay in Kamaole. Clean, quiet, perfect location. We have never had a ground floor unit before and found it really convenient. Easy to drop off beach stuff with tracking through the unit. The unit is nice and has everything you need for a beach holiday.

Lovely stay

This condo is well located, comfortable, clean, well equipped (including beach towels, chairs, umbrella and some snorkel equipment) and has a distant view of the ocean. The fans and air conditioning allowed us to keep a perfect temperature. My only suggestion (a small one) is to provide more bath soap. We went through ours by day two. Especially necessary to scrub off Maui’s required zinc sunscreen.

Truly a gem at Kamaole Sands

We have stayed at Kamaole Sands about 12 times and this one is our new found favorite! Building 1 is our most desired one for its afternoon views and wonderful location on the property. The check-in process was very easy with the property managers thorough description and condo access information. The assigned parking space is a short walk from the condo which is Very important after loading up at Costco. The condo was neat and clean and ready for our arrival. Keep up the good work y’all and we look forward to staying at this lovely condo again in the near future!

A good location and convenient

The property is in a perfect location for access to other areas of Maui - especially the beaches in South Maui. The kitchen was well-equipped and there are lots of beach accessories (umbrella, chairs, body boards, snorkel gear, etc.) available for use. The unit itself was a bit dated, but we didn't come to Maui to be inside. If there was one thing to point out or be aware of it would be that the master bed felt well-used, it could definitely use replacing. We would definitely recommend the unit to anyone looking for a great place to stay in Kihei.

Nice location with all the amenities

Our family of three had a very nice stay. The Kamaole Sands property is stunning, and located steps from Kam III beach. The listing was accurate and the unit provided all the essentials, including a well stocked kitchen with everything you need for cooking, bbq’ing, and food storage. There were beach chairs, umbrella, boogie boards, beach towels, kids sand toys and cooler bags for beach use! The unit was well stocked with bath towels, and even included hair dryers and shampoo/conditioners., Checkin/checkout was a breeze, thanks to all the information provided ahead of time. Contact with the rental company during our stay was for the most part easy, with issues resolved quickly.

Excellent spot!

We had a fantastic time staying at this property! It's in a great location, really close to the check in building and easy access to the sidewalk to get to breakfast, the beach, etc. It was clean when we arrived and just as described. The patio was nice with a table and four chairs. There's an umbrella, beach chairs, boogie boards, sand buckets and more to use in the patio closet. The bed wasn't the most comfortable but we managed. We were able to fit our daughter's pack and play in the room, between the bed and the bathroom door. (We mostly used the hallway bathroom) The company that manages the rental was very quick to respond and helpful via text or the phone. We are so glad we were able to book this property and hope to come back next year!

Fantastic condo, fantastic location!

We loved every part of our stay at Kamaole Sands #1-104. Regarding the unit, there are views of the water from the patio, which was perfect for morning breakfasts. The kids loved running out on the lawn. The sleeper sofa was comfy for our kids, and the king bed in the separate 1 bedroom was also so comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed (including tupperware to take picnics to the beach)! There is a patio closet full of beach things (umbrella, boogie boards, etc.) And the place was so clean and updated. The tennis courts are directly behind the unit and recently resurfaced (with tennis classes for free once a week). The pool was such an easy 1 minute walk with two hot tubs! Most of all, the location is incredible. 3 minute walk to the beach (literally across the street), 5 minute walk to fun eateries in S. Kihei, and a beautiful jog or short drive to the fancy resorts in Wailea. We would definitely stay again in a heartbeat. Thank you so much for a wonderful family vacation!

Family Reunion in Paradise

Bathroom door challenge to close, 1 patio chair was broken, and laminate on kitchen cabinet peeled back making it difficult to close. Grounds were beautifully manicured and extra special with Christmas decorations. Very friendly/accommodating staff Pool area was clean, lots of choice to sit in shade/sun. Loved the Wed afternoon Hawaiian music/dance! A lovely festive community feel. Very convenient to rent snorkels/beach items at shop on site. Beach chairs/umbrella in unit were very handy. Would only suggest a second set of beach towels, more places to hang wet items and more comfortable inside seating for families wanting to watch movies together at night. Overall, a wonderful place to stay and we are so thankful to have had the opportunity to spend time with our family. Would highly recommend Kamaole Sands and hope to visit again. Mahalo!

Great proximity to beach - 90's vibe

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This property is located within a five minute walk from Kam three, which is a beautiful beach. The property itself was clean, although it smelled so strongly of Febreeze or some other air freshener. It was overwhelming, to the point that it felt like they were trying to cover up another smell. The property is desperately in need of an update. The furniture and decor give off a definite 90's vibe and you need a college degree to run the TV. The amenities provided are the bare minimum, and there wasn't even pepper in the cupboard. Be prepared to buy your own toilet paper, paper towels, and soap, as they supply very little. Compared to another property that we stayed at during a previous stay that is about a block away, this one was like the Motel 6 of condos. All of that being said, if all you plan to do is sleep there, it had a comfortable bed and it was a quiet property.
