About this property

Horse Valley Lodge - Pool Table, Firepit, Indoor fireplace, Pet Friendly

Welcome to Horse Valley Lodge! This newly renovated and updated two-story home located near the Yonahlossee Riding Stables between Boone & Blowing Rock is a wonderful home away from home. It offers mountain views, a brand new hot tub, a firepit, pool table, and a huge deck to relax on.

The fully equipped kitchen provides cooking essentials, granite counters, and stainless-steel appliances including a dishwasher and double door fridge & freezer with ice maker, plus the eat-in dining area at the table provides plenty of seating for your friends or family. Relax on the leather sectional sofa in the great room to watch your favorite show on the streaming TV, or grab a mug of tea and read a book by the fireplace.

The master bedroom offers a King bed as well as deck access, and is located on the main floor down the hall from the living room. Its private bathroom has a granite counter vanity and a tub/shower. Down the hall you'll find a Queen bedroom, a bedroom with twin-over-full bunk and a teepee, and a second full bath with tub/shower.

Downstairs is a second sitting area with cozy furnishings, a poker table, and a big streaming TV. There's a game room in the converted garage, featuring a pool table. There are two more bedrooms on this level: one with a Queen bed and the other with a set of twin-over-full bunk beds. These two bedrooms and the game rooms share a full bathroom with a tub/shower.

Outside om the main level is a private deck for you to enjoy. Cook up dinner on the gas grill to enjoy on the picnic tables, relax on the set of patio furniture and enjoy the beautiful mountain views, roast marshmallows around the fire pit, and soak away your cares in the brand new hot tub by the firepit.

No matter where you go and what you do during your vacation, you're sure to love Horse Valley Lodge!

Additional Notes:
- Firewood may be added by reaching out to us more than a week in advance. You get two wrapped bundles and a firestarter for $25/night plus tax.
- AWD/4WD and/or chains are recommended during winter. The home is located in a neighborhood with paved roads, but the gravel driveway has a moderate downhill grade to reach the parking & turnaround area.
- This home features streaming exclusive TVs
- All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, a couple garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two. We do not provide hair dryers. All linens and towels are provided.
- This home is pet friendly for mature, well-trained dogs. Pet rent: $25/nt per pet plus tax.

Easter gathering with Family
Great visit with nine family members and getting to be with our grandson who is attending Appalachian University. Location was good for food shopping and spending time in Blowing Rock. We even managed to get in some hiking. The house was perfect for all of us, with privacy, comfortably beds and adequate bathrooms. Kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. Wonderful memories to cherish until we all meet up again. Also, management was great to work with, thank you, Micki and a thank you to the owners for opening their lovely home for our Easter holiday.
