NORTH PARK ENTRANCE AT GARDINER. This Yellowstone Cabin Rental Is On Private Acreage Five Miles From The Park's North Gate with the Best Wildlife Watching And Cutthroat Trout Fishing!
Charming cabin built in 2009 with two bedrooms that sleeps 5 located just five minutes from Yellowstone Park's North Entrance on several acres of private property. Perfect for travelers who want easy access to the famous Northern Range and Lamar Valley with its bison, elk, deer, wolves, bears, AND fishing for world-famous Yellowstone cutthroat trout!
This beautiful cabin is unlike all other vacation rental properties in the area. Lying in an extremely private location just above Highway 89 north of Gardiner, Montana, and the Roosevelt Arch, the cabin is easily accessed by a well-maintained, short, 300 yard-long Private Drive.
This setting provides you with total solitude and isolation from any hustle and bustle of the busy roadways leading to/from the park. However, at the same time, when needed, you are just minutes away from restaurants, the market, and shops in Gardiner or a bit further away in Livingston and Bozeman.
Built on a log frame, this cabin has all modern amenities yet has a great amount of rustic appeal including beautiful hardwood floors. It has enormous windows giving you unmatched views of Yellowstone's Electric Peak, Devil's Slide, Dome Mountain, and many other spectacular geological features. Wildlife abound here and deer, elk, pronghorn antelope, bighorn sheep, or bison are seen on the meadows and mountain slopes near the cabin. Often during the spring and fall, they are standing right in the cabin's yard. No-where else in the northern Rockies will you find wildlife this abundant and close in a natural setting.
Horses graze nearby, and the Yellowstone River, home to world-class trout fishing, leaves the park and passes just a few hundred yards below you.
There are many access sites to the Yellowstone River very near to the cabin, one within easy walking distance (that is a very great fishing spot...just ask our boys!).
Being near Gardiner, our cabin is at the home of the Yellowstone Forever, a long-standing educational institute offering numerous courses in the park. The Electric Peak Cabin is a perfect place to stay when visiting and attending these courses.

Electric Peak Cabin is exactly as described. The view from the cabin is amazing. The horses are lovely and a pleasure to see everyday. The cabin was clean, the bed’s comfy and everything you need to make your stay welcoming is available. Todd is responsive and friendly. The cabin is close to town and Yellowstone’s North entrance. We had an amazing time at Yellowstone and the cabin warmly welcomed us upon returning.
The views were amazing. I loved the picture windows in the front. The space was everything we were looking for. Pretty secluded, no signal (wifi available if we wanted) We went in mid march so we had sunshine as well as snow. Note that much of Yellowstone is not accessible from the nearest entrance to this cabin. Todd was great, stopped by on his way out to say hi. We just truly enjoyed this stay all around. We plan to return
Perfect location and wonderful host. While small this two bedroom cabin was located just a few miles from the entrance to Yellowstone National Park and only about 1.5 hours away from the Bozeman airport. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the constant elk in the yard!
Cabin is beautiful, very clean, and it is very private. Views from cabin are amazing. We actually had some Elk right outside our door. It was awesome. Conveniently located, just minutes from town and the north entrance if Yellowstone.
Property was amazing. Tobb was a very friendly and accommodating host. The view and animal life in close proximity is unbeatable. When we return to Yellowstone, we will definitely be staying here again!
Check-in was a breeze, kitchen was well-equipped, wi-fi was strong, and we were in a beautiful location with quick access to town and Yellowstone. Highly recommended.
Loved our stay at Electric Peak cabin! It was peaceful and relaxing yet close to Gardiner and Yellowstone. We enjoyed watching the elk from the cabin and hearing them in the morning.
The cabin was pretty cozy although a bit too small for our family of five. We were 5 people but only 4 dining chairs . The pots and pans were all either scratched or rusty and we had to buy a new pot in order to cook healthily.Otherwise everything was great and all other amenities were sufficient.

Why they chose this property
We have built this cabin here because Yellowstone Park is the greatest place on the face of the planet. We want to provide an opportunity for visitors to relax and share in the Yellowstone experience.
The Yellowstone River and great fishing are within walking distance of the cabin door. Also the Yellowstone Association and all its educational opportunities are found right near our place at Gardiner.
This is our home and we love it. Come on out here and stay for awhile!
