The house was very well equipped. Nice motion lights. Hallway bathtub stopped up with hair and no dustpan only a broom. Loved being able to take our babies(pupsters). Host had a nice welcoming gift bag.

It was our first time in OBX and we really enjoyed staying here! Even though its not right on the beach its super easy to get to the beach access and we never had a problem with finding a parking spot.

Fathers n Sons Fishing Trip

We had 5 people - 2 dads and 3 teen sons - for a weekend of fishing out of the Oregon Inlet - 20 minutes down the road. The house was very clean, very comfortable, and well equipped/appointed. The kids loved the pool table and the bikes available to all. We had a great time.

My son had 2 days off. He coaches the Wilson Tobs summer wood bat baseball team. We came in town to watch his team and enjoy NC. We loved the Outer Banks and our air B&B.

Wonderful Vacation

Hale Aloha was the perfect place for our family vacation. There were so many amenities that our family enjoyed. My kids enjoyed playing pool and we appreciated the grill. The house was well stocked with everything we could possibly need. The location was prime for shopping, restaurants, and beaches. The home was extremely clean and the pictures were very accurate to the home. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy your home. We hope to come back soon.

Highly recommend staying here! It was clean and neat, check in was simple and straightforward, the host was extremely helpful and kind and sent a great guide that helped us get the most out of our trip!! The checkout process was simple as well and the surrounding area was enough removed from the main roads and noise while still being close to the beach! We especially loved having access to the beach supplies like chairs umbrellas and beach toys! This was our first beach trip so it was nice to not have to worry about purchasing and transporting all that! Great and thoughtful detail to add!

comfortable on the OBX

we are a 73 year old couple with a small Labradoodle. The home was exactly as billed on VRBO. It was ideal for our needs on a short notice mid week rental. Only challenge was getting the TV working on Spectrum but minor issues. Remember in staying on the outer banks you will need to contend with stairs pretty much everywhere due to the need to be above sea level. Recommended.

Awesome Weekend!

Stayed here for the weekend as my wife and neighbor were participating in a half-marathon race. Our families had a great time and the accommodations were perfect! The house was exceptionally clean and prepared prior to our arrival. The host communicated on time and had great follow-through on responses. Because the race was on Sunday morning, the host was kind enough to accommodate a late checkout so that our families could have additional time to get things packed up for the return home. Well done and a big thank you!

Our stay at this property was exactly what we needed! The home was clean, well appointed and the linens and products were top notch and well-thought out right down to the very smallest details. Dyan was communicative, considerate, and accommodating. The house is close to everything! Great restaurants, the beach, groceries, and parks and everything you want to do in OBX. We had a weird circumstance that brought us unexpectedly and with very short notice to this rental and we were SO nicely surprised by the home and it’s host. It was everything we needed to unwind and rest and we loved our stay! Book it! You won’t be sorry! We hope to come back soon.

Exceptional House, Exceptional Host!

Hale Aloha was such a sanctuary to stay in, beautiful interior décor, the kitchen had everything you need to cook, and the whole house is CLEAN, every room a pleasure to be in. Our girls (7 & 8) loved the photos, their bunk beds and the games. It is everything you could want in a home away from home. Dyan let us book last minute, she saved us from a terrible moldy condo that would have ruined our vacation. Dyan is a gracious accommodating, helpful, and informative host. The beach is only 3 minutes drive away, every street has a beach entrance, so many to choose from, with free parking. Great cafes and restaurants that are kid and dog friendly, are all nearby. Next time we come to stay, we will rent a golf cart and bicycles, this is such a terrific find, we can't wait to come back! Thank you!

The cleaning and maintenance of this property needs some attention (example : broken blinds and closet door off the hinge) The sheets were stained, towels bleached (one with a hole), mildewy shower curtain, etc. I have never had to call a rental owner, but I did this time. Dyan returned my call and email. She offered to have the cleaning crew come back out and to find someone to repair the door. We declined as our time at OBX was already limited and we didn’t want to have to coordinate with a cleaner/repairman on our vacation. Some positives to note: The house has nice spaces including the game room, and the beach equipment and bikes were a plus. I was just very disappointed that the rental was not as clean or as ‘kept up’ as it should be for the price point.

House was newly renovated

House was newly renovated however there was an unfortunate issue with the Ac. Had one night without Ac. Owner was tracking the AC temps and was aware that the temp was quite warm. Upon me contacting them. They called the repair company and within a few hours determined that they were not able to repair it without ordering parts. They made an adjustment to our final cost for the incident.
