Located in Columbia Falls, Mountain Burrow is just a short drive east of Whitefish and the airport and 20 minutes from Glacier National Park! You're within walking distance to trails, fishing, the river, and a 5 minute drive to dining and shopping downtown, breweries and farmers markets.

This new one-bedroom, one-bathroom apartment features a laundry room and queen-size bed. There is a full kitchen to prepare a meal and comfy couch and flat panel HDTV to unwind at the end of a long day.
The space is set in a country neighborhood with mountain views and is adjacent to neighbor horses on a 20 acre pasture.

The kitchen and grill give you the option to dine in and avoid the crowds.

Please note: there are stairs to get down to the apartment. There are also two long term tenants that live above.

The space is located below the main house with lots of natural light coming in.

**IMPORTANT UPDATE REGARDING GLACIER NATIONAL PARK. Tickets must be purchased to travel on Going-To-The-Sun-Road from May through September.

Wonderful anniversary get-away

We stayed here while visiting Glacier National Park. It was a clean, comfortable space and everything was new or newly redone. It is a quiet, lovely setting and beautifully decorated. Claudette and Justin were helpful and gracious hosts.

Good location

Definitely would stay again. Owners very attentive and informative. Only real problem was no blinds or curtains in room, but they were in the process of ordering some. Convenient to everything we needed. We walked every night to the river and loved several restaurants we loved-gunsight and Backslope brewery!

Very beautiful VRBO. Definitely hope to come back someday! There are lots of things to do in the area too! I would suggest that they put up curtains but there are no neighbors so it's not mandatory, I just like to sleep in the dark!

Wonderful long weekend getaway

My boyfriend and I stayed at the mountain burrow while visiting the Glacier National Park area, and we had the most wonderful stay. The property grounds are GORGEOUS, the apartment is clean, the perfect size, and has just the right amount of amenities for 2 people. It was in a great location, only took us about 25 mins to Glacier, and 20 mins to Whitefish! The town of Columbia Falls is only about 5 mins and was beautiful. The owners were very pleasant, accommodating, and thoughtful, as we arrived to a handwritten welcome note. Would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a quiet, romantic stay in Columbia falls.

Wonderful Getaway near GNP

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Claudette and Justin’s rental space. We arrived late on Thursday but the self checkin was easy and quick. The place is just as pictured in the pictures and Claudette left a lovely handwritten letter with flowers from her garden to make it feel a bit more like home. We were in town for GNP and Under the Big Sky, which were both about a 20 min drive away. We really didn’t have any bad things to leave in the review and would definitely stay here again!

We had an absolutely fantastic experience at this property! From the moment we booked, the host was incredibly responsive, providing clear communication and helpful tips for our stay. The check-in process was seamless, with detailed instructions that made everything stress-free.The property itself was clean, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The living spaces were cozy yet spacious, perfect for the two of us to relax The location was ideal, close to local attractions, restaurants, and hiking trails, yet tucked away enough to feel like a peaceful retreat. The host went above and beyond, leaving a thoughtful welcome basket and personal card.I was hesitant on booking the property due to it being located in the basement of an occupied residence but after staying it’s no different than a hotel. I would definitely stay here again. I will also add it’s in a great location if you are attending the Under The Big Sky Music Festival. Just a short drive away.
