This is a very nice oceanfront condo with a roomy balcony. We loved having meals on the balcony and enjoying the view. The unit and the general property are well maintained. The only negative for us was the tiki hut on the adjoining property that has live music off and on during the day and every evening from about 7:00 - 10:00 pm. Depending upon the music being played (and the volume), this could be pleasant background music or quite annoying. You will always hear the music if on the balcony. You will sometimes hear it in the condo, especially if you have the tv off. If it weren't for the music, this place would be about perfect.

General cleanliness was okay but the bathroom had hair all over the floor. Management was responsive and sent housekeeping right over but the damage was already done. Ocean One, however, was a great place to stay with beautiful views, a great pool and easy access to the beach.

It was such a treat to be just steps away from the sand, making our beach days so convenient. Additionally, it was an easy walk or bike ride to the nearby Coligny shops and restaurants, which added to the overall enjoyment of our trip.The property management was very helpful and made renting bikes, beach chairs, and umbrellas incredibly convenient—everything was delivered right to the condo.While the condo itself is slightly run down, it was clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The fantastic location, beautiful beach views, and excellent service more than made up for the minor wear and tear. We would definitely consider staying here again!

LOVE!!!

Location of this property was A-MAZING. The balcony view was perfect for the soul every morning. The only bummer is that there was construction happening throughout the larger property and for us, right outside the door so things were a bit messy and noisy after 9. But buildings need maintenance and what can you do! I am still giving our vacation a 5 stars! We'll be back and it with the maintenance, will be even better!

Solid property - very nice

We were very happy with this property. The bathroom update was well done and the property felt current. The location is great with direct views to the pool and the beach, and easy beach access. Central to the main Hilton Head commercial areas. One note - the hotel next door has live music at their outdoor bar from early afternoon to just after dinner time - think Jimmy Buffet covers. We loved it, but some folks might not.

Ocean One

We’ve been staying at Ocean One for years, but this was our first time in this unit and using Sea Turtle Getaways. The unit was as described and after hours pickup of keys (yes, real keys, no key pad) was easy. Even though it’s not the responsibility of the rental company, the elevator closest to our unit was out of order (apparently there had been issues with it for a while). Within 2 days, both elevators in the complex were out of order. Please be sure to ask prior to renting as we were not made aware of any elevator problems prior to our arrival. I understand Ocean One will be going through major updates beginning in December, so all repairs and updates should be completed by summer of 2023.

There’s a new couch and it’s clean and very spacious. Every night we would sit in the patio and listen to the live music next door. And it’s a short walk to coligny plaza for shopping. As well as several grocery stores within a 10min drive. This place is great. Sea turtle getaways makes checking in and out easy-peasy as well. Definitely pick this place, you won’t regret it!

We found it just the way we thought, beautiful ocean view, easy access to the beach and Tiki bar next door, as well as the Coligny area. The only down side were the beds. Could be updated. All in all very nice place.
