We enjoyed our stay at Viewtopia. The space was perfect for our group of 20. This is a perfect location for a large group- plenty of space to gather all together- and so many options to spread out as well. Thank you- we will return!

We had a great stay and enjoyed every minute of our time at Viewtopia. The dock has enough room for two rented pontoons and a jet ski. Area was quiet and it felt like we had the lake to ourselves. Truly enjoyed our stay and hopefully we can do it again next year!

The view is incredible from the entire house. Sunsets are spectacular. Well appointed kitchens. The house is very spacious, with so many places to gather - large deck, backyard, boathouse deck, game room. We had 6 families with 12 adults and 11 kids, so the house was a perfect fit with one room per family and the bunk room for (most of) the kids. Both kids and adults had such a fun weekend!

This is the second time we've stayed here and this place keeps getting better! It's extremly spacey, management is outstanding, ALOT of cool extra things to do inside and outside the house and VERY quiet. WE LOVE THIS PLACE!!!!

We absolutey enjoyed our stay. The house is beautiful! The view is amazing. Our kids had a blast fishing, swimming, boating and playing games. Only downside was we didn't catch a lot of fish, but that was probably more because of the kids lines getting tangled and too many canonballs off the dock. lol. This is of the few times that something you view online was exactly what you get in person. We would love to do it again!

Perfect weekend getaway

Our group had such a wonderful weekend at the lake. The house has so many great amenities and has such a beautiful view from sunrise to sunset. Danny is a great host and makes sure we are all settled in as much as possible. Can’t recommend this property enough!

Great house! Plenty of room and activities in the game room and on the dock. Amazing views of main lake with beautiful sunsets! Would highly recommend and definitely stay here again.

The house & location are absolutely breathtaking. Communication with the host was easy, we had a couple hiccups in the very beginning but they were very, very quickly resolved. Our stay was late October & we were expecting some chilly nights but the outdoor heaters were such a pleasant surprise!! Really made the outdoor space comfortable. We would definitely recommend the location to others.

Christmas Vacation

This was an amazing home. Stayed for our Christmas vacation and it was just perfect place. Massive and stunning views and peacefulness just to state a few. Very accommodating with everything you can ever need for a vacation. Thanks to the host for supper great communication.

Fabulous home with beautiful views. The hosts were very helpful and responsive. Our group ranging from 5 to 73 years old were all captivated by the place and activities. In addition to the game tables and video games, a large selection of board games was also welcome. Plenty of glasses and silverware. The kids on the bunk room floor didn’t mind coming down to share bathrooms on the main levels. We would love to visit again!

Amazing lakeside family vacation!

We had such a great time here. This was the PERFECT place for my family of ~20 and I to stay for a week vacation. You really can’t beat this house + its location. The hosts were very communicative; they answered all of my questions beforehand and responded quickly during the week we were there. We would absolutely come back another time.

Amazing Property

This house far exceeded our expectations!! Beautiful secluded area that felt like our own oasis. The rooms are spacious and perfect for multiple families. The outside sitting space was so lovely. We really enjoyed this trip and all of our guests were raving about doing it again next year!

Beautiful Home with Magnificent sunsets.

A fun week with all my famiy, ages 8-80 I gave it only 4 stars because of couple little issues but owner finally corrected the problem, If you are looking for a large beautiful home on main lake with a fantastic view this house is for you.

Hi Nancy! Thank you for the kind words. You have such a lovely family. It was great meeting you. Nancy is correct. Friday at 4pm Nancy let us know that our 3rd refrigerator had stopped cooling. By 3pm Saturday, the technician had come, let me know that the fridge couldn’t be repaired, I purchased a new fridge, had it loaded up, and I offered to bring it over immediately. Nancy indicated there was no urgency, and asked me to bring it on Sunday, which I did along with a dozen of the area’s finest freshly made donuts and cinnamon rolls for her and her family. And unfortunately, our trash service was supposed to drop off a 3rd and 4th 95-gallon can on Thursday and they showed up Monday or Tuesday (supply issues). But Nancy and her family were incredibly understanding throughout. We were blessed to have them.

WORTH EVERY PENNY

This is an absolute dream vacation. All my guest were so comfortable with how the house was set up considering all the bathrooms and space. We’ve made memories that will never be forgotten. Can not be happier with choosing to book this home! The owners are more than personable, helpful, and charismatic. Very thankful for their hospitality.

Excellent Work Retreat Location

Lovely, quit part of Lake Gaston, and the perfect house for our group of 7 remote colleagues to get some in-person time. Both main levels of the house are basically self-contained spaces with bedrooms, bathrooms and even a second kitchen downstairs! House is in like-new condition and lakeviews are beautiful. Boathouse/dock is well-equipped and has plenty of room for lounging/swimming.

Amazing Ladies Retreat!!

We had a wonderful Ladies Retreat at Viewtopia! The sunset views were amazing! The house was BEAUTIFUL had all the amenities that we needed! I would like to also add that Danny and Careena were EXCELLENT to work with! A+++ on communication!! We had a view hiccups and they were QUICK to get them worked out. We will definitely be back!

Great stay!

We had a wonderful stay with our family at this location. The house water and dock were perfect for our size family. We had two boats and one JetSki. Also, when the air conditioning unit in the basement start working, the owner sent a service call immediately, and the air-conditioning was back up and running within hours. Super great response from the owner of this home. Thanks again for a wonderful stay!
