Austin Glass House-As Seen on TV and Two Movies

The verdant property is nestled alongside a spring-fed creek and tree-lined greenbelt that offers access to the beauty of the Hill Country. This architecturally-acclaimed glass-and-steel house is defined by towering 30-foot windows that provide a 360-degree integration with the outdoors. The upstairs bedroom features three decks and an in-room coffee cart is perfect for enjoying your morning brew while watching the sun rise over the wooded canyon below. The spacious downstairs bedroom boasts an open-air shower with three ceiling-mounted shower heads, an oversized jetted tub for two, and glass walls that bring the outdoors inside. Spend time on the peaceful patio, snooze on a hammock, sit by the chimenea, or take a hike on the shady Indian Creek Trail, which offers views of fern-lined grottos and crystal-clear water.

The Austin Glass House is just 30 minutes from downtown Austin and minutes from popular Lake Austin and Lake Travis. Nearby Lakeway offers breweries, wineries, distilleries, fine dining, and other amenities.

Other Details To Note-

The driveway is steep and must be driven down slowly. Follow the arrows to park close to the steps to the house. If you don't feel comfortable driving down the driveway you may park at the top in the designated parking area and walk down steps. Four cars can fit at the lower level. The house also has interior steps that should be considered if mobility is an issue. For guests with young children please note that there are interior steps as soon as you walk into the house to get downstairs to the living and kitchen area. We do not have baby gates.

We treat for pest on a regular basis however we are surrounded by nature and occasionally you might see a bug in the house.

House Rules-

-Smoking of any kind not allowed
-Parties or events not allowed
-Fires only in chimenea and no candles allowed
-Please no climbing or sitting on rock walls
-No commercial photography unless prior approval
-No more than six people allowed overnight
-Please no parking on street
-Quiet hours from 10pm-10am
-Only Toilet paper in Toilets. Nothing else as we are on a sensitive septic system.
-Please no dogs or other pets allowed.
-Please respect the neighbors and do not trespass on their property or park in front of their house.
- A/C is programmed not to go below 72F as it will destroy unit if set lower.
