Come relax with your family in our peaceful cabin tucked away in the moutains and surrounded by cedar trees. The inside of the cabin provides a comfortable place to gather and sleep while the outside boasts gorgeous views and a variety of wildlife. Wild turkey or deer are almost guaranteed to be seen on the property on any given day. And while you visit, make sure to take advantage of the hiking, fishing, rafting, and skiing that is in the area.

We enjoyed staying at Elk Heights. The house was clean and suited our party of 5 extremely well. It was clean and had all the utensils we needed - the pellet grill was a great amenity and made cooking dinner so easy. The beds were comfortable and checking in and out was also easy. Thank you for a great stay!

Rejuvenating Getaway

Perfect getaway

This is a very spacious and comfortable place with a very nice view. We really enjoyed our stay here. The host was very helpful and very clear with the instructions. We are glad that we found this place. Hidden gem with really good amenities.

Great Property

We had family come visit from out of state, so we brought them up here for a few days and we all loved this property. The views were amazing, the cabin was plenty big for all of us, and we were all comfortable during our stay. The kids really enjoyed it as well. I would recommend this place for your travel needs.

We were looking for a cabin in the woods with mountain views. That's what we got. A bit of a drive off the main road to get there but hardly any traffic noise which adds to the nature experience.

Beautiful view with lots of peace and privacy

Very comfortable and well stocked with everything you need for a peaceful and relaxing time. Thoughtful details like c-cups and coffee supplies. The deck is amazing with a beautiful view. Lots of room for family and friends.

Great place- clean and comfortable. The location wasn’t the best. We assumed it was in New Castle based on the listing, but it’s located quite a ways outside of Silt, so more driving than anticipated.

Cozy Classic Cabin

The cabin was even comfier than can be conveyed through image. All amenities inside the cabin were useful and accurate to the listing. The area was very convenient for our forays into Glenwood springs. Joshua was very communicative and helpful with conducting our stay. The taxidermy was personally my favorite touch. Will look to stay here again for my next mountain weekend trip. - M. Salazar

Further out than we had hoped

It’s nice that it had four bedrooms, although they could really use some updating. It is further from town than we anticipated. The outdoor property definitely needs to be cleaned up and some safety rails should be put up around the perimeter of the back deck. They’ve done some cute things on the inside, the kitchen was very user-friendly and the price was right.

Family Summer Trip

The property was even better in person! We loved that it could fit our whole family and with having all the same amenities as we would at home (TV, wifi, kitchen, laundry room, etc.). The location was perfect! It was away from a busy town but close enough to the highway that it made day trips for exploring very easy. Our boys loved having a big house to run around in and have their own beds. They were still in awe of the deer heads on the wall. The owner was very responsive. On our day of arrival we were given a door code which made coming and going very seamless. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone and we will be coming back in the near future. Thank you so much for having our family!
